Harmony Village Introduce
Welcome to Harmony Village Mobile Home Park, a well-established and centrally located manufactured home community situated in the heart of the Denver metropolitan area. Nestled in Westminster, Colorado, this community offers a unique blend of accessible, independent living combined with a neighborhood feel. For many Colorado residents seeking home ownership and community without the high costs often associated with the Front Range, mobile home communities like Harmony Village present a viable and attractive alternative.
Mobile home parks in Colorado, and specifically in the Westminster area, are evolving. While they traditionally offered cost-effective housing, many modern communities now strive to cultivate a true sense of belonging and provide desirable amenities to their residents. Harmony Village is known for its well-maintained appearance, offering a clean and organized setting that helps to foster a pleasant living environment for all residents. It's a place where the streets are described as "nice and clean, well taken care of," contributing to the overall sense of order and pride within the village. This focus on maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization is a key aspect of life at Harmony Village.
The structure of a manufactured home park means residents own their home but lease the land (lot rent) beneath it. This arrangement can significantly lower the barrier to entry for homeownership compared to traditional site-built homes in the competitive Colorado housing market. Understanding the balance of home ownership and lot lease is crucial for prospective residents looking to make the move to a community like Harmony Village.
Harmony Village Introduction / Overview
Harmony Village operates as a manufactured home community, providing a platform for residents to establish roots in a tight-knit neighborhood. The feel of the community is often noted, with some residents feeling "like I was in a small town rather than a big city." This village-like atmosphere, where neighbors are often known to look out for one another, is a significant draw for those moving from high-density urban settings or seeking a more personal touch to their daily life. The park has been described as a "little community or village itself," emphasizing a sense of collective neighborhood pride and engagement.
The community features a variety of homes, many of which have been updated or are newer models, offering modern floorplans and features like central air conditioning, well-equipped kitchens, and in-unit laundry hookups. Homes within the park often feature multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, appealing to families, couples, and individuals alike. Prospective residents should note that approval for residing in the park is contingent on a successful application, which typically includes a background check, as is common practice for a cohesive community living experience. Furthermore, subleasing or renting out homes is generally not permitted, which helps maintain the owner-occupied, community-focused nature of Harmony Village.
Location and Accessibility
Harmony Village is conveniently located at 860 W 132nd Ave in Westminster, Colorado, 80234. This prime location places residents squarely in Adams County, just north of Denver, and offers excellent accessibility to the wider Denver metropolitan area.
Its proximity to major thoroughfares ensures that residents have quick access to essential services, employment hubs, and recreational opportunities throughout the Front Range. The location is near public transportation options, offering an added layer of convenience for commuting and travel. Nearby a wide array of amenities can be found, including major shopping centers, dining establishments, and schools. Specifically, the community is a short drive from key medical facilities, such as Centura Health - St. Anthony North Health Campus, and offers access to various parks and recreational areas in the Westminster and North Denver regions.
An important detail for the community is its commitment to accessibility, which is reflected by the provision of Wheelchair accessible parking lot spaces, ensuring convenience for all residents and their guests. The community’s location is generally considered family-friendly, though community regulations and management policies can often shape the resident experience.
Services Offered
Harmony Village offers residents a core set of services and a platform for independent living within a communal setting. While the specifics of the monthly lot lease (rent) cover essential operational aspects of the park, residents are typically responsible for their own home-related utilities. Services often available to the community include:
- Lot lease for land, which includes property maintenance of common areas.
- Access to shared community amenities, such as a park or playground area.
- Management services for community rules enforcement and day-to-day operations.
- Dedicated driveway parking for resident homes (typically for two cars, with stricter rules for additional or visitor vehicles).
- Paved and well-maintained private roads throughout the community.
The management's role is key to maintaining the park’s desirable standards. However, prospective residents should be aware that management policies can sometimes be a point of contention, particularly regarding adherence to community rules, as some past residents have mentioned concerns about frequent notices or strict enforcement even after issues are resolved. Transparency regarding all community rules is highly recommended when considering a move.
Features / Highlights
The features of Harmony Village contribute to its appeal as an attractive residential option in Westminster. These highlights focus on both the physical infrastructure and the community lifestyle:
- Strong Sense of Community: The park is celebrated by many as being a tight-knit and well-organized "Trailer Park Community," fostering a small-town atmosphere within the larger metropolitan area.
- Recreational Spaces: The community is noted to have its "own park with playground," providing a dedicated and safe outdoor space for children and families to gather and enjoy.
- Accessibility: The provision of a Wheelchair accessible parking lot reflects the park’s commitment to accommodating all residents and visitors.
- Clean and Well-Maintained Grounds: Consistent feedback praises the cleanliness and organization of the park, with streets being "nice and clean, well taken care of."
- Individual Home Features: Many available manufactured homes offer contemporary living amenities, which can include spacious layouts, multiple baths, large storage sheds, and a driveway for parking.
- Convenient Location: Situated in Westminster, the community is close to major highways, public transit, and a short drive to Denver, providing access to extensive employment, shopping, and entertainment options.
However, potential residents should be fully aware of certain rules that have been highlighted in customer feedback, such as the policy that visitors have to pay to park, which can be seen as a negative for hosting guests frequently. Additionally, the need for all residents to carefully adhere to management's property maintenance standards is evident from the strict notice policy mentioned in reviews.

A Trailer Park that is like a little community or village itself. They have their own park with playground. Their streets are nice and clean, well taken care of. Clean and well organized little Trailer Park Community. I felt like I was in a small town rather than a big city.
