Many visitors return year after year, finding it to be a reliable and convenient base, particularly when visiting family in the East Texas area.
Happy Trails RV Park is frequently praised for its "down home country at its finest" vibe. This means you can expect a relaxed environment where the focus is on a hassle-free stay and a good night's sleep. This personal touch and genuine hospitality are key distinguishing factors that contribute to the positive experiences of many long-term and returning visitors.
While it caters to a specific preference for a more rustic and less commercialized setting, its proximity to local town amenities, including fuel and other necessities, adds a layer of convenience. It's a place where you can escape the intensity of urban life and settle into the quiet rhythm of rural Texas, making it a compelling choice for Texans who value a peaceful, unpretentious, and affordable RV stay. Happy Trails RV Park Reviews
When I visit family in the area I stay here every year. It's not your 5 star resort if that's what you're looking for. It's down home country at its finest. Owners are really good hearted and will do just about anything to make your stay feel welcomed. Local town has fuel and other amenities needed to get by. Peaceful sleep and no hassle. Looking forward to next year during the holidays... oh and good bisquits and gravy at the restaurant.
Nov 30, 2019 · Darrell StewartNot as advertised. Stayed there for s few months because of work. Couldn’t sleep because of train, always muddy, propane kept getting stolen off camper. Several broke down campers on lot. Not a place I would ever go back to nor would I recommend. As o was paying my monthly rent I told them this was my final month and we where moving to campgroup down road. I travel a lot so I admit I was a little late but I notified them via text and phone, he is seldom lay there, keep missing each other. So I was paying what was owed and told them I was moving to another campground on the 26th and owner kicked me out then. An illegal eviction. He called me a ding idiot and started to yell at me. When I left I noticed the raised the rent and overcharged me.
Jan 08, 2019 · Marcus RutledgeIf you are looking for tennis and a 24 hr store, this is not your place. If you are looking for 50 amp, water, and sewer, a great little cafe, and friendly folks at a reasonable rate . I highly recommend Happy trails.
