Happy Holiday RV Village Reviews
This has always been a great location for family friendly fun until now. The game room Jesse , Casey and Sam built that my kids loved and enjoyed is now gone. There was no mention of the game room being removed during the off season and was just a huge surprise. I will not be back due to management and the lack of customer support. The rates have changed and pushed out the returning customers. If you plan a trip please be aware this is not the same happy holiday we all once loved.
Jun 26, 2025 · Shawn MartinMy family has been coming here for 30 years, it’s always been wonderful, until this year. The shower houses are nasty, hair balls and toilet paper everywhere. The bathrooms haven’t been properly cleaned in a long time. Then the next day someone had an incident in the shower house and there was blood EVERYWHERE. It was a massacre. After we reported it, it took 3 hours for someone to come out and half ass clean it. No bleach was used and there was still blood on the floors and benches. The pool has been closed a majority of the time the past week, even when not cleaning. One time it was closed and when asked why, the worker replied “we’re watching for storms in the next hour” like people can’t decide for themselves when to get out of the pool. There have been people complaining of bed bugs in the cabins. The water shut off this morning in the middle of my shower, so no one could shower or flush the toilets. This place used to be fun, and enjoyable, with live music and craft days for kids. It’s so disappointing to see those days are long gone.
Jul 02, 2025 · Kiara MarshallThey rooms are great you stay in your own camper or tent u clean. 🤣 Location is great. I have been coming to this campground since I was a kid (Been a minute 😂) anyway this year has got me questioning if I ever want to come back. THE MANAGEMENT IS BAD 👎!! They have no actives they are on the schedule but they doing do them they come up with excuses. No game room and at the hottest part of the day NO POOL either. They say they are cleaning it. (DO THAT BEFORE IT OPENS AND AFTER IT CLOSES). If you say something they say they clean it 3 times a day BUT they CAN'T EVEN CLEAN THE BATHROOM 1 TIME A DAY!! ( So yeah right). The bathroom HASN'T been cleaned in 3 DAYS!! There has been big heir ball stuck to side of shower that long and the floor is nasty and tolet paper in floor in the stalls. (IT'S GROSS 😝) THE worst part is there was blood all over 1 of the shower stalls the say after we got here. They did send someone to clean it 3 hours after complaints where made. The person that came to clean didn't do very good job cleaning it there is still blood on things in the stall. They took down the curtains so people won't use it but that's NOT CLEANING IT UP PROPERLY! They didn't use any cleaner like BLEACH or you would smell it and you couldn't. The couple of times that they have come to clean the bathroom still smells BAD and not like any cleaner when they left but again "THEY CLEAN THE POOL 3 TIMES A DAY" ( YEAH RIGHT) THEY ARE RUINING THE CAMPGROUND THAT SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE LOVED FOR YEARS!! I would NOT recommend to anyone anymore under this management. 👎👎👎
Jul 02, 2025 · Brandi MarshallOur Favorite place to camp 🏕️ with our family and friends! We tent camp, spaces are big enough for 2-4 tents according to size, and it’s located super close to the river. The staff are all so friendly and helpful! Bath houses and clean and well maintained. Dog friendly , and my dogs love it here. Pizza is hot and fresh and delivered!
Jun 12, 2025 · Crystal NorvilleSad to see how bad this campground has gotten in 9 months. Last year at this time there was a lot for families as well as kids to do. There is no game room for the kids anymore. Jessie Sam and Kacie had the best game room ever!!! The pool is green it’s pitiful around here. Used to be our happy place we came 4-5 times a year. Not anymore!!! If you don’t have people that know how to make kids happy at a campground it will dry up fast. And it looks like a winter trip like we have done before around here. The manager should be fired and banned to ever say the name of this park again. Sad sad sad!!!!!!!!!!!
