Mobile home parks like Hacienda de Valencia typically offer a range of services designed to enhance the convenience and quality of life for their residents. Based on general industry practices for 55+ communities and specific public information about Hacienda de Valencia, the services provided may include:
- On-Site Management: The park benefits from on-site management, which is crucial for addressing resident inquiries, enforcing community rules, and ensuring the smooth operation of the park. A resident review noted, "Management is very consistent. What goes for one goes for all it wasn’t like that when I first moved in so this is a welcome change," indicating a positive shift in management consistency. However, another review stated, "the new office manager is the worst," suggesting varied experiences or changes in personnel.
- Laundry Facilities: On-site laundry facilities are typically provided for resident convenience, eliminating the need to travel off-site for this essential service.
- Pet-Friendly Environment: Public information indicates that Hacienda de Valencia is a pet-friendly community, which is a significant amenity for many residents who wish to live with their pets.
- Waste Management: Access to trash disposal services is a standard offering. However, a review mentioned, "Trash pick up isn't handled by the city but you have to pay the same price. No bins, no recycling, no bulk pick up day. You have to take some types to the dumpster yourself & all your recycling in your car to the library," which, while likely from a different park with similar issues, flags a common concern for mobile home residents about the specifics of waste services and their cost-effectiveness. The provided reviews for Hacienda de Valencia specifically mention that "The water is always getting shut down," which points to potential issues with utility service reliability.
- Community Organized Activities: The park is "designed to offer the most of Mesa, AZ living. With an array of community organized activities to keep you involved." This suggests that the management or a resident committee plans various social events and activities to foster a lively community atmosphere.
While a positive change in management consistency is noted, the concerns about water shut-downs and a negative experience with a new office manager are important points for prospective residents to investigate further during their inquiries.
Hacienda de Valencia is designed with several features and amenities that appeal to the 55+ community, encouraging an active and social lifestyle.
- Clubhouse: A large clubhouse serves as a central hub for social events and community gatherings, providing a space for residents to connect and enjoy shared activities.
- Swimming Pool and Whirlpool-Spa-Hot Tub: The community offers a swimming pool for relaxation and exercise, complemented by a whirlpool-spa-hot tub, perfect for unwinding under the Arizona sun. These aquatic features are highly desirable in the Mesa climate.
- Fitness Center: A fitness center is available, allowing residents to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle within the community.
- Shuffleboard Courts: For those who enjoy outdoor games, shuffleboard courts provide a recreational outlet and an opportunity for friendly competition.
- Pet Friendly: As highlighted earlier, the park welcomes pets, allowing residents to live comfortably with their companions. This includes features like a "pet park."
- Picnic Area: A designated picnic area offers a space for outdoor dining and social gatherings, enhancing the communal aspect of the park.
- RV Storage: For residents who own RVs or need extra space, the availability of RV storage is a significant convenience.
- Consistent Management: One positive highlight from a resident review is that "Management is very consistent. What goes for one goes for all," indicating a fair and uniform application of park rules, which contributes to a more harmonious living environment.
- Affordable Living: Mobile home parks generally offer a more affordable housing option compared to traditional site-built homes, making them attractive to those seeking a cost-effective lifestyle in Mesa.
It's important to consider these highlights in conjunction with some resident concerns. While the park offers numerous amenities, some reviews indicate that "They never do anything in the park to raise the rent," suggesting a perceived lack of reinvestment in the community despite increasing space rent. This perception could impact the long-term enjoyment of the advertised features if they are not consistently maintained or updated.

Hacienda de Valencia Reviews
Very much like living in this park. Management is very consistent. What goes for one goes for all it wasn’t like that when I first moved in so this is a welcome change.
Aug 29, 2023 · Sissy LutherThe water is always getting shut down. Space rent keeps going up.They never do anything in the park to raise the rent, the new office manager is the worst.
Dec 31, 2024 · Gail MAfter 6 years, I’m fed up! While lot rent has increased every year the issues with infrastructure go unnoticed and ignored. Our water is shut off consistently with times of the shut off incorrectly reported to residents. There are no individual shut off valves so anytime a water leak occurs the entire park loses water. Our streets are hazardous with huge potholes and cracks that make walking downright dangerous. As an age restricted community, there are multiple homes that allow unvetted/unapproved family members to live in the home. There are 4 homes on the main road that are condemned and vacant with a house that was destroyed by fire still sitting with fencing surrounding it. The house burned over a year ago. We are expected to trim trees and maintain lots at our expense. We don’t own the lots and must ask for permission before making any changes. It is absolutely the worst community I’ve ever lived in. Buyers beware!
Oct 02, 2024 · Jaiann GerardThe equipment in the weight room needs updated other then that very nice community to live in!!!
Jan 21, 2025 · Sharon NorquistParent company (Equity Lifestyle Properties) does NOT maintain the property. In spite of having two full time maintenance men, the place is falling apart. Metal roof support pole is rusted half way through, gates are constantly broken, streets full of pot holes. All the residents get is empty promises and lame excuses. Do NOT believe reviews from "local guides" UPDATE: After 3 full months they have finally fixed the front gates to our "gated" community. UPDATE #2 The metal support pole was finally fixed AFTER the city code compliance office was notified.
