Gulf Coast Camping Resort Reviews
We just spent 6 weeks at the Gulf Coast Camping Resort. We enjoyed our stay. The park is very clean. The owners/manager.Angela and Vito are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. They took over the park about 2 years ago and they are still making repairs from Hurricane Ian and should be 100% open by next season. The lots are deep and able to accommodate larger rigs. The pool was great to sit and relax at. You can hear some road noise mostly sirens. Otherwise quiet and felt very safe. Definitely would come back again.
Mar 23, 2025 · Kimberlee StarkI first came to Gulf Coast over a year ago, it’s absolutely charming. It’s quiet, there are birds and rabbits everywhere. It’s tucked away. There’s a small lake. It’s all immaculately clean with traditional games like horseshoes. The pool is fresh, decked out with all new furniture, very comfortable. It’s affordable, and the management are here every day, taking care of every detail. As a senior woman, my priority is safety and I can walk around at two in the morning and feel perfectly safe. It’s in a very good area. There’s lots of local shopping. I’m so grateful I found this campground.Everyone is friendly here, it’s a very low key environment, very natural and traditional. There’s a little office with conveniences like ice, mail delivery, they sell some essentials and ice cream. There’s a clean affordable laundromat that’s open to the outdoors that I love doing my laundry in - you definitely won’t find a better campground in this area.
May 13, 2025 · Kim HawxhurstMy Husband and I enjoyed our stay at Gulf Coast Camping Resort! The staff is extremely hard working, beyond helpful and made us feel at home! Very quiet property and respectful neighbors!
Oct 02, 2024 · Tara BoydWe have stayed at Gulf Coast for at least 10 years! The new owners/crew are doing a fantastic job. The camp ground is nice and clean, quiet, sites are great. Angela and all staff are very helpful, friendly and working their butts off. Sorry no pics however the pool area is beautiful and they have redone the horse shoe area. Kudos to all and we shall see you next year
Mar 01, 2025 · Marsha NieWe stayed for a month. Very nice people working here angela was super friendly and accommodating for anything we needed. She and her husband and son are working their tails off fixing up the camp ground making improvements as the place was taken over after a hurricane did some serious damage. Our site was nice, clean, and super quiet. The laundry facility is kept immaculate and always open. The campground itself is older but it's kept up. Sites are clean and the grass etc well maintained. The pool was newly opened during our stay and was very nice. We had great neighbors very quiet and respectful. Most all the people we met there are super friendly.Only thing we found strange were a few disgruntled people who own some of the lots inside the campground that do nothing but give the management grief..so they had to keep the pool gates locked up on Sunday because the office is closed and no one was there to monitor the pool area to keep out whoever isn't suppossed to be In there. We were told that the situation is being worked on.Overall we had a great stay and will definitely be returning next year.Angela was great about getting us the site we wanted for next year. We are looking forward to seeing all the improvements to come for next year.
