Grapeland itself is a small town in East Texas, offering a quieter, more rural atmosphere compared to larger metropolitan areas. While the town provides basic necessities, the primary draw of Grapeland Cafe, RV & Cabin’s location is its utility as a quick stop along US-287. Based on its name, "Grapeland Cafe, RV & Cabin" clearly indicates a multi-faceted offering, combining hospitality services for travelers. While detailed lists of specific amenities are not extensively available in public reviews, the name itself and typical expectations for such establishments suggest the following services:
- RV Spaces: The primary offering for RVers would be designated spots for parking recreational vehicles. Given its nature as an RV stop, these would likely include essential hookups such as water and electricity. The provided review mentions a specific price quote for overnight use, implying standard RV site availability for short stays.
- Flushing Services: One review specifically mentions an inquiry about using "water and flush our pipes after wintertime," indicating that the park may offer facilities or services for RV wastewater disposal (dump station) and fresh water refill, which are crucial for RV maintenance.
- Cafe/Dining Facilities: The "Cafe" in its name suggests that the establishment operates a food service component. This could range from a small diner offering home-style meals to a quick-service counter, providing convenient dining options for guests and passersby.
- Cabin Rentals: The inclusion of "Cabin" implies that in addition to RV spaces, there are cabins available for rent. These would likely cater to travelers who prefer a more traditional lodging experience without an RV, or those seeking a rustic cabin getaway.
- Short-Term Stays: As indicated by the review seeking an "overnight" reservation, the park clearly caters to short-term RV guests needing a stop for a night or two.
Grapeland Cafe, RV & Cabin possesses a few unique features and highlights, primarily centered around its convenience and specific offerings, although customer experiences can vary:

Grapeland Cafe, RV & Cabin Reviews
Called to make reservation for one night and was quoted $35 per night… called back less than 2 hours later to make the reservation and they raised the rate to $50, because I told them we just wanted to use the water and flush our pipes after wintertime… Nevermind!
Apr 22, 2025 · Rick BraddyThese people are terribly rude they lie and are hateful people. We happened to be driving in the car with two babies inside when they aggressively pulled in front of us! We decided to call the number on the van and confront them about it but they wanted to say that we were the ones that pulled out! These old people need to take an Uber next time. I wouldn’t recommend coming here. It’s almost sure that you will have a horrible experience.
Jun 29, 2024 · Lillian PeachThe people are rude want to lie about stuff and their cabins are not actually cabins and as far as the food I've got food poisoning 5 times there at the restaurant. The owners are rude hateful and want to mess the so called cabins up and lie about it being messed up after you leave. I'll get a motel room for a month instead of their $750 a month cabins
