Choosing the Grand Sierra RV Park offers a unique value proposition for visitors to the Reno area. The true advantage here is the seamless integration of an RV camping stay with the experience of a major resort. If your travel priorities include the flexibility and comfort of your own RV combined with world-class entertainment, diverse dining, and luxury recreation, this park is an excellent fit.
While some travelers, as noted in reviews, find the RV park area itself to be a more practical, paved lot setting rather than a rustic, shaded nature retreat, the payoff is the unparalleled access to amenities. Having a full-service casino, multiple restaurants, a beautiful resort pool, a 50-lane bowling alley, a fitness center, and professional entertainment venues within a short walk from your RV is a feature few other RV parks in Nevada can match. Furthermore, the convenience of full hookups, Wi-Fi, and clean, accessible restroom/shower facilities makes for a truly convenient stay.
For RVers looking for an active, entertainment-driven base camp to explore Reno, Lake Tahoe, and the surrounding region, the Grand Sierra RV Park stands out as a prime choice. It is worth noting, however, that travelers focused solely on a quiet, natural, or heavily wooded camping environment may find the atmosphere to be more urban than desired. If the promise of full resort living on an RV budget appeals to you, this unique Reno RV park is definitely worth considering for your next Northern Nevada trip.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. Overpriced, unorganized, unmanicured, not so clean dirt and rock parking lot. There are lots of stickers and debris everywhere. I don't think they've ever paid any attention to this side of the rv park. The other side is well kept, landscaped, and manicured. The ONLY 1 good thing was they were able to move us to a 50 amp spot, but they charged an additional $60. See the pics to see what $600 gets you for 4 days. Ugh, never again! PS. I usually only post good reviews as the bad ones aren't worth my time, but I just had to share this so that maybe they'll get their shit together and make it right for everyone else September 29 · Rox B
- Lovely and very clean.. bathrooms are large with clean showers.. plenty of space for RVs. Sadly someone stole the hitch pin of my family's RV . Had to purchase a new one .. perhaps cameras and better security. RV parking gives access to the GSR pool and fitness center. There is also a lake and golf area May 09 · Francie
- The nice thing about Grand Sierra RV Park is you can use the facilities at Grand Sierra Resort as the hotel guests. The swimming pool is one of my favorites. The hotel bowling alley is another excellent place to go with friends. The RV park is full hookups. So, there is no problem in the summer as long as your air conditioner works well. I do enjoy my time with friends there. February 14 · Michael W.
- I would give it a 1 but because of the hotel and casino I'll give it a 2.Upon arrival we were to check in at the rv office. It was 3:30 and it was closed. No shower/bathroom keys until the next day, whete they gave us 1 card. 2 men and me and were to share 1 bathroom card. The place is so run down. Not much upkeep has been done. Then the day before we left the bathroom/shower card stopped working. No explanation but we had to walk to the hotel and get a new card, which they looked like it was such an inconvenience. Also on that day and night, all kinds of rigs coming in from burning man, til all hours. Speeding over the speed bumps until way late into the night. For the luxury price you pay, it certainly is a run down rv park and not worth the price. Advertised wifi but there isn't any at the park.We have been coming for 10+ years the weekend of the rib cookoff but it's the last time at Grand Sierra RV park. September 04 · K E
- Nice level spots with full hookups and walking distance to the casino. Sadly they're turning the RV park into a parking lot. This will probably cause us to find another casino to visit 😞 June 25 · Terri Callaway
