Goldfield RV Park Introduce
Goldfield RV Park offers an extremely valuable and unique proposition for RV travelers: a full-service base camp with necessary amenities situated within walking distance of the historic Old Colorado City district of Colorado Springs. This family-owned park has been a fixture in the community for over 50 years, built on a tradition of hospitality and easy access to the region's most celebrated attractions.
The park is specifically designed for motorized travelers, providing essential full hookups to accommodate campers of all sizes, including large motorhomes with multiple slide-outs. It blends the convenience of an urban location with the functional requirements of an RV park, making it an excellent hub for tourists and seasonal residents who prioritize location and utility access over vast, secluded acreage.
Guests frequently praise the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, who are noted for going above and beyond to provide excellent check-in experiences and local advice. While the park’s prime location contributes to some reported road noise and tight spaces, the trade-off is unparalleled proximity to historical, recreational, and dining opportunities in the Pikes Peak region.
***
The location of Goldfield RV Park is arguably its greatest asset. The park is situated at 411 26th St, Colorado Springs, CO 80904, USA. This address places it perfectly in the south-central area of Colorado Springs, nestled between the city's downtown and the mountain gateways of Manitou Springs.
A key highlight is the park's immediate proximity to Old Colorado City, a Designated Historic District. Guests are within easy walking distance of its charming boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, and shops. This ability to stroll to a vibrant local destination is a rare convenience for an RV park in the area. Furthermore, the park is just a few minutes' drive from some of Colorado’s most famous landmarks, including Garden of the Gods Park and the gateway to Pikes Peak, often referred to as 'America's Mountain.' Excellent connectivity via US Highway 24 allows quick access to the Cave of the Winds, the Manitou Cliff Dwellings, and the US Air Force Academy.
Accessibility at the Goldfield RV Park is prioritized for all guests, offering a Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible parking lot, and Wheelchair accessible restroom facilities. The on-site parking and easy access from major roads make arrival and departure straightforward for all RV sizes.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Pros:The park is walking distance from old town. The poeple at the front desk are very pleasant and helpful.Cons: Water pressure is very low, under 40lbs. 😕Spaces are a bit tight but was able to get all 3 slides out and still had about 6ft in front of the door. You can hear the busy roadway.
September 13 · Daniel RodriguezTeresa was the one who checked us in and she was absolutely fabulous! She was so nice, helpful, and friendly. Someone needs to pay her $50 an hour to answer the phones at the IRS. The lot was extremely small and right next to a busy road so it was loud. The showers were nice and new!
May 25 · Sheri BeltzThis is an urban rv park with 51 close spaces. It is well located for touring the area, the staff was great, and the restrooms updated and 5 of 5 clean. It is not a destination RV resort, but provides a good launching point for the Colorado Springs area.
August 09 · Patrick McCoyWe enjoyed our stay at Goldfield RV Park! All of the staff were amazing! We loved waking up and grabbing a free coffee at the office and getting advice on where to explore in the area from the friendly staff! The bathrooms and laundry were super clean, and the rest of the park was also well maintained. The location was great for all the attractions we visited while in Colorado Springs. Thank you to Brandon, Trint, Teresa, and Jane for your hospitality during our stay!
May 03 · Jessica GormanAbsoulate 5 stars for Brandon and Tresha. They allow us to extend our stay due to being stuck in Pikes peak’s unexpected snow storm. The facility is very neat and clean. Barely even spotted any bug. I found decent size between RV. Very quite and well managed property. Day time traffic can be heard when outside of the RV. Inside you won’t feel anything. I am sure night time road was as quite. I am very sensitive to noice or vibration, but I didn’t feel any of that at night due to the road being nearby.
