This RV park has carved out a niche for itself as a smaller, more intimate setting, ideal for those who appreciate friendly interactions and a relaxed pace. While the park has experienced a change in ownership in recent years, leading to mixed feedback from past tenants, it continues to offer a location that many find appealing for both short-term getaways and longer stays in Central Florida.
It's important for prospective visitors to be aware of both the positive aspects and the concerns raised by former occupants. Reviews highlight the park's picturesque lakeside views and the generally friendly nature of its residents. For many, the appeal lies in its more compact size, which can foster a stronger sense of community compared to larger, more bustling resorts. The park's ability to accommodate various RV sizes, even up to 26-foot travel trailers, makes it a viable option for a range of travelers. However, some former tenants have expressed significant concerns regarding recent management changes, rent increases, and the condition of some facilities.
When considering Gloria's Resort, it's advisable to factor in the recent history and perhaps make direct inquiries about current policies and maintenance efforts. Gloria's Resort Reviews
This park was sold a few years ago unfortunately. The previous owner was amazing stayed on top of things was kind to tenants. The new owners have decided to come in barely do anything to the park they raised lot rent by over 200 dollars . The park manager is a sloppy drunk who curses out tenants and walks around drunk she does not do her job she fails to report accidents and problems with lots . The owners will not talk to tenants at all I would not suggest staying her unless u wanna be meet with money grubbing alcoholic people. It is not worth the money to stay there yes I am a former tenant and moved out. Due to management and the countuned lot rent increase. The sloppy drunk park manager with cut your power off if she's mad at you . Oh and let's not forget that the new owners let a 10 year old make all the decisions for the park please be very careful staying here they will damage your property cuss you out .and also for anyone check the electrical box before u plug your RV in they are under code so is plumbing I will never rent from these people again . And they are treating long term tenants unprofessionaly . I don't understand why owner would allow a drunk to run their park
May 22, 2024 · Crystal “Cece” ColvinThis place has the most friendly owners! It is very tiny so keep that in mind when making reservations. It worked out fine with our 26ft TT. It is right on a tiny lake / big pond which offered amazing views. The bathroom/ laundry room was very clean in the back, though the front one I didn’t like to go into. Everyone here is super friendly. Our spot was big enough for our hammock and such which was awesome. Location wise it is in a great spot to do lots of different things whether it’s trails or LEGO land. Would definitely camp here again!
Jan 06, 2021 · Kelsey ElizabethWe stayed 7 need nights!! Nice neighbors and management!! Invited us to their Thanksgiving Potluck!! Pool is lovely and we had a nice lake view!! Laundry was well priced and showers were clean and tidy!! Roads a bit tight and had to remove tow vehicle to get our 40ft motorhome in, but we made it!!
Nov 26, 2017 · Stace EwingMy wife and I lived there for a year. It is quiet and kept up. The rates are more than fair, and the location is excellent! The best part was the friendly neighbors as well as Terry and Mike, the owners. I might still be there if I had a better RV.... !!!!
Feb 02, 2021 · Chuck KeranenIt's extremely tight, don't even try it if you can't back up a camper. Everybody knows everyone which can be both good and bad. One washing machine is pretty much always not working. The pool says it's heated, feels like it's heated by the sun. Power was going on and on a lot fried our hook up because of it. Lots of drama with the owners and who's running it. The lake is beautiful, we had a lake spot those had the most space other than that it's hard to fit a mini next to your camper. Ow and ask them when your stop is booked next because a lot of people had to leave with a few days botice because they werent told the spot was pre booked. It says its child friendly however it's not very child friendly regarding the people who live there and the owner. We had no problems with that but other people did too.
