Flying Dutchman RV Resort Reviews
Wonderful new park. Beautiful clean with nice concrete pads. Super clean, nice bathhouse, and great free WiFi. The hosts were friendly and very accommodating. Our pup loved all the green grass. We stayed one night on our journey. Very accessible right off 35E south.
Jul 06, 2025 · Theresa SteltzlenThe Flying Dutchman was in a perfect location for a visit with my family. It was clean, the restrooms were good, laundry was all good. I do question the term resort. There is literally nothing there to equal a resort title. No pool, no shop, no pickle ball, Nothing. It was literally 116 concrete pads. I would definitely stay there again as it was good value, but I do think they should get rid of the resort.
Jun 13, 2025 · Sheri FrostThis was a really nice RV Park. We were here for work.Pros: Gated.Easy pull through sites. Level, paved sites. Lots of room for your rv, two cars side by side and not too close to the next site. Roomy. Quiet park. Lovely manager. Wonderful laundry room with 4 sets of washer/dryer for coin operated and 4 sets for electronic/card payment.Cons: Traffic at the main roads 4 way stop. 15-20 min on typical morning.During the Renaissance time....Stuck in traffic for nearly two hours just to get back to rv during Renaissance festival.Great park!
Apr 17, 2025 · Robert Von KampFlying Dutchman Rv Resort has outstanding customer service from check in to check out. Even allowed us to checkout later without any additional fees. Site are clean, leveled, quiet, with one picnic table. In addition plenty of space around the site.
Jun 16, 2025 · kalonji singletonFlying Dutchman RV Resort WaxahachieWonderful 5-day stay. Friendly host, clean bathroom and laundry (coins and credit card.) Paved roads and sites, very roomy and long. Evidence of ants but I saw none. Landscape is weeds and small trees. No pool or playground. A few miles off the freeway, fairly quiet except from adjacent commercial/industrial buildings. When driving back to the freeway and to Waxahachie you'll have to pass through a 4-way stop sign that takes 5-10 minutes to pass during rush-hour and other busy times of day. Good ATT 5-G service. They accepted my Passport America for two nights.
