Fly South RV Campground Reviews
This Campground is out in a very quiet area, but very close to town. The price for one night was excellent! The dog park is HUGE! The picnic area is very cute & has a great Cullman, AL sign for a back drop. Some of the sites aren't very level, but we had no problem setting our camper up for the night.
Apr 02, 2025 · Janice LitzVery pleasant camping area! Fly South is still new-ish and very well equipped. The pads have power, water, and sewer, and the wide gravel aisles made it easy to park the camper (especially since someone else did it — thanks, Randy!)The part I enjoy the most is the field behind. At the moment the field has fall wildflowers—and there are so many butterflies! The noise of I-65 is muffled by trees. The dog park is huge. The lights around the outside of the campground brighten (motion detectors) when someone comes near, but it is still dark enough that the stars still put on a good show. I did spot a shooting star early this morning!I recommend Fly South, any time of year!
Sep 10, 2024 · Sue MorrowIf I could give zero stars I would. We have a 40ft 5th wheel and in no way are the lots or even the drive ways wide enough to fit anything over 20 feet and you better have no slides. We finally found a spot that worked, but it was not level, the gravel and dirt was not compacted properly so we sank, the front gate did not function correctly the entire time we were there, at one point we were locked in, and to top it all off my car got stuck in the mud. There were no picnic tables, fire rings, or grills on the sites. The sewer drain was abnormally high, so draining our tanks was a nightmare. While Taylor was nice he did not offer any sort of explanation for all of these things besides we are new and opened recently. If you are not ready to open for business then maybe you need to rethink the concept.
May 30, 2025 · Scullie SmithVisit us on YouTube @ManyTallonsAs far as a reasonable price for a month's stay they were great. The only amenities they have is a dog park and a picnic area.It is all gravel. So a large gravel parking lot. However, it was fine for us because we were there to see family not spend time at the RV park. The one around the corner was more money and we like saving ours. You can only check in online with a card so no cash payments or office. You must check out when you leave. Everything is very easy and if you have any problems the gentleman who runs the place is more than willing to help. It's that Southern Hospitality at work!
Oct 02, 2023 · ForstormeyIt’s a large gravel parking lot. Water, sewer, electric and that truly is it. No public restrooms, no office, no grass, no personnel. Everything is done on line. Access road is terrible, narrow, twisty, rough.
