★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Quiet place while we were there. Close to the marina, not too far from food and stores. Near fresh fish markets. They were doing a lot of clean-up and arranging, preparing for the holiday weekend. And even with all the tree cutting, weed eating, mowing, tractor work, gravel laying and scrapping, there were still 3 deer who came into camp a couple of times a day, to graze. It looked like a family. And that made whatever noise, (still was not bad though), not too bothersome. Especially since the deer did not seem to be fazed by the noise or people out and about, even barking dogs. As long as it was not too near them, that is. I really did enjoy our time here. The only reason for the 4-star rating is because of the clean up noise but even that did not bother us too much and usually did not start until around noon.
June 29 · Terri (Rocznstks)I booked this park for three nights knowing that this is a fisherman's haven and to expected as such. The facilities are more than adequate and changes have been made since the ownership change (not sure when that happened). Rest rooms were very clean and I was OK with the $2 shower on the men's side (women's side was no charge). Generally the park is pretty quiet as well. On site staff/host were very friendly and helpful. Sites were fairly level and all water, electrical and sewer work properly. I could easily have given this 5 stars, but a few things held me back from doing so. Extra vehicle parking makes navigating the park interesting - especially if you are on an end site as cars turning can come close to rigs. Site definition could be improved. There really is no visitor parking for friends with boats going over to visit and clean fish. Saw a couple of what I assumed were non paying customers sleeping in their vehicles overnight. The staff does warn people that there are bears in the area and they have video evidence of such of bears in/around the garbage dumpster. I would say that if you are coming here with a family I would probably look elsewhere. I would however come back and stay for a couple of nights if I am passing through the area. Despite a majority of the campers being residents, its a good park and assuming space availability, I would stay again.
August 25 · Michael BrownI had such a great time staying here. The facilities were spotless, the atmosphere was calm and friendly, It really feels like a hidden gem, and I left already planning my next trip back. Highly recommend!
August 24 · Zachary BianchettiI had a wonderful experience coming here! The location is perfect peaceful, scenic. The sites were well-maintained, easy to access, and had all the hookups we needed. The owner was very kind and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend.
August 24 · jacob laYou had to pay extra for the shower. Our spot wasn't ready when we got there at 9pm. It did have a nice hiking area in the back. Not the worst but won't come back.
