Eastern Idaho State fair RV park Introduce
For residents and travelers traversing the Gem State, finding a convenient, clean, and reasonably priced spot to park an RV is a top priority. Fairway RV Park, situated at the Eastern Idaho State Fairgrounds in Blackfoot, Idaho, is a standout option that successfully meets these needs. This well-positioned park offers a practical solution for short-term stays, serving as an excellent base for exploring the rich agricultural heritage and community events of Blackfoot, or as a handy overnight stop on the way to major Idaho attractions like the Craters of the Moon National Monument or the state's famous recreational areas.
The Fairway RV Park is structured to provide an easy, no-fuss camping experience. The management understands that RV users value simplicity and accessibility. Unlike some remote campgrounds, this park is nestled right in town, offering quick access to shopping, dining, and other essential services without sacrificing the peace and space needed for a comfortable stay. The design caters to both smaller and larger rigs, though it is vital for RV owners to be aware of the simple policies regarding vehicle size and space requirements, ensuring a smooth arrival. The focus here is on providing a core set of highly functional amenities—water, power, and a dump station—all at a price point that makes sense for the budget-conscious traveler or local event attendee.
Fairway RV Park is a practical and highly accessible RV camping area located on the grounds of the Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot. This site primarily caters to temporary stays, appealing to visitors traveling through Eastern Idaho, attending local events, or those needing a short-term home base in the area. The park operates seasonally, with spaces typically available from April to October, providing a consistent service during the prime RV season in Idaho. The atmosphere is noted for its simplicity and the use of the fairgrounds' open space, which allows for a pleasant stay, often on plush grass.
A key highlight is the straightforward, self-serve nature of the check-in process, which is handled via a pay station conveniently located next to the bathrooms. This ensures that even late-night arrivals can easily secure a spot. The park's commitment to affordability is evident in its pricing and the weekly stay benefit: residents who choose to stay for 7 days only pay for 5, a fantastic deal for those needing a slightly longer stopover. One recent customer review praised this aspect, noting, "Reasonable price—$25 . Water and electric. Dump station. ... Stay for 7, pay for 5." The blend of low cost and necessary utilities makes this a highly functional option for the passing RV enthusiast in Idaho.

May 26 · JT RenoReasonable price-$25. Water and electric. Dump station. When full the center isle is closely packed. Was empty for our visit. Nice bathhouse. Park on plush grass. Stay for 7, pay for 5.
June 05 · Bryan B.We needed a place to stay for one night in our travels, and this was perfect.
July 22 · Mary HoneWonderful place to stop for the night or for a slightly longer stay. Long pull through spot for us, and grass to walk our dogs. Away from freeway noise. If you're long, make sure you take the route NOT through town if you're following Google maps
September 24 · Holly HortonExcellent spot for RV camping. They have electric and water at each site. Dump station on site is available but no sewer hookups at the individual sites. Very soft grass on the sites. There were only 5-6 other RVs there with us so there was plenty of space. Showers (and bathrooms) on site require a code from the office staff which are not on site. Payment box on site. Cost was $30/night when we stayed. Very quiet except for a train horn one morning. Highly recommend this site.
