May 19, 2025 · Clarence MurphySo I get ready to purchase a mobile home already in the community and that I would have to get approved for the lot ok cool....but doing the process of filing out the application I noticed it felt like filing out a credit or job application just to rent a lot. I'm from Louisiana born and raised and I was planning on coming back I came a couple weeks ago to check out the community and it was ok pretty decent but it's not all that I kinda feel like I was doing a application for a five star community. They were asking for bank information and all that I'm not about to go through all that just to rent a lot.I was expecting something like that from an apartment complex but a mobile home community!...I have rent lots in my days but I have never had to go through that...guess I'll continue my search.
Mar 17, 2024 · CameoIv lived here over 10 years lots of drama starters in here moved best decision I ever made at one time was a picsfull place to live loved it not now 🙈🙉🙊🐭🐖
Nov 10, 2024 · Brandon JeffersI've lived on the property for a few months and have had to purchase tires on 3 separate occasions. The so called speed bumps/humps/mountains are severely damaging the frame of my car. Other than this issue it's quiet and my neighbors are friendly. I especially enjoy the view of the pond. I hope that we can have the roads fixed in a timely manner bc with lot rent increases and the raise of gas, food and energy cost I can't afford another car. 😢
Sep 02, 2022 · Mrs. ChancellorBetween August last year and this coming August, the lot rent will have gone up by over $120 (close to 25%... up by 1/4 in 1 year). Whether that is "competitive" compared to other mobile home lot rent is not relevant to the elderly and disabled and families on fixed or low income that have lived here many years that can't afford to move their homes (the cost can be several thousand dollars). An increase so they can hire management companies but not maintain the property (the actual land) and the water supply. The water here is not drinkable, hardly ok to shower or bathe children in, has boil advisories more often than not, and either smells like the lake or chlorine bleach. I do like it here otherwise, it's pretty when kept up, and pretty peaceful consideringhow big the neghborhood is. I agree with others about the road, it is sinking and floods, but it's fine if you go the speed limit and slower. I don't care to complain but I do believe people should know these things and do their homework before buying or renting. Read the lease agreement. Be smart.I hope Ms Brandy at the office gets a raise with this rent/ lot rent increase, maybe enough for a newer car. She been here forever.
