I stayed here very recently. I’mThe one who was in the Brinkley that was across fromThe covered spots 👋First off this place is not nice… the shower house plumbing when you shower smells like gray water from the tanks. Don’t know if management knows or even cares since it’s mainly a man camp. Also the water that comes out of the shower heads is SO SLIMY! Now for some reason when you do laundry the water doesn’t smell like that? Idk I don’t understand it.Second there is multiple of functioning meth addicts in the place. One of them actively uses & sells drugs over near the dumpster.NOT A SAFE PLACE FOR KIDS.Third there is an older gentleman near the covered spots in a older rv that will actively be tweaking near his camper & will ask other residents if he can make money by helping you with whatever your doing. He’s sweet, but a massive nuisance.Fourth, there is a resident here who constantly is rubbing their motorcycle engine at all hours of the day except for late at night…Fifth while I was staying here there’s a three groups of men who like to get really drunk and loud and bash on women that were staying right next to me and apparently lived here for a while again this is definitely a man camp not a woman’s place….As an oilfield worker, I have lived in plenty of man camps, and plenty of RV parks, and I’ve traveled a lot. I like to give RV parks that are small like this a chance considering they are really cheap….Well, they don’t advertise is the drug addicts, And I say this as a former addict who has been in recovery for eight years this place is not for you if you were trying to stay sober. The first initial contact with management they are really nice, but by the end of our stay after bringing up concerns about all the methamphetamines and drug deals that were going on in the back of the park, they clearly did not care so we will never be coming back here I debated for a minute if I wanted to leave this review as a mother, I could not stand standby and let any other kids come up in here. This place has so much potential, but I don’t think the management of the owners care as long as I get their money. They treat you differently if you bring up the issues as well. I will never stay here again, and I do not recommend this place for anybody other than people who are men working and needing a man camp to stay…The one thing I can’t say is it was just really sweet younger girl maybe in her 20s that was really helpful with translating for me as I do not speak Spanish & had to keep telling one of the Neighbors I am married. I’m not interested. Please leave me alone. I don’t know how long she’s lived here, but she told me keep to yourself mind your business and most people will leave you alone. At first, I thought was very passive aggressive and kinda rude towards me, but I now understand what she was meaning.I’m giving 2 stars because this place has potential and it wasn’t bad the first 24hrs.I drove by today on my way to a new gig & saw they had some sucker with a mustang parked in the spot I was staying at & it took eveything in me to know go & warn them.I know the owners can see this review & I stand TEN FOLD ON MY REVIEW. Using my business email instead of my personal incase yall decide to be Vin over my review.I don’t normally leave reviews.DO NOT GO HERE! Unless you have too. - Emily Cambelt

Eagle Creek RV Park is situated at 1450 Knob Hill Rd, Azle, TX 76020, USA. Azle, a growing community in Parker County, Texas, offers a blend of rural tranquility and convenient access to larger urban centers. This location positions the park in an area that allows residents to enjoy a quieter lifestyle while remaining within a reasonable driving distance of essential services, local businesses, and the broader amenities of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

The park's address on Knob Hill Road, a local thoroughfare, generally provides accessible routes for RVs. While not directly on a major interstate, Azle's road network, including State Highway 199, allows for relatively straightforward travel to and from the area. This connectivity is beneficial for residents who may commute to Fort Worth for work, approximately a 30-40 minute drive depending on traffic. The location also offers proximity to various local attractions, including nearby lakes such as Eagle Mountain Lake, which are popular for fishing, boating, and other outdoor recreational activities. For those who appreciate a setting that balances peaceful living with reasonable access to urban conveniences and natural escapes, Eagle Creek RV Park's location in Azle presents a practical option. The rural setting can offer a retreat from the constant pace of city life, yet still keep necessary services within reach.

Eagle Creek RV Park provides a range of services and facilities aimed at accommodating its residents. Based on common RV park standards and feedback from past occupants, the park typically offers the following:

  • RV Sites with Hookups: The park provides spaces for RVs, generally equipped with hookups for essential utilities. While specific amperage (e.g., 30 or 50 amp) and the presence of sewer and water at every site are standard expectations for an RV park, prospective residents should confirm the exact setup for their chosen site.
  • Gated Community: One significant feature highlighted by a positive review is that the park operates as a "gated community." This implies controlled access, which can enhance security and provide residents with a greater sense of peace of mind.
  • Shower House: The park offers a communal shower house for residents. However, it's important to note that a review mentions concerns regarding plumbing and water quality in the showers, specifically a "slimy" feel and a "gray water" smell, which may be a consideration for some guests.
  • Laundry Facilities: On-site laundry facilities are available, providing a convenient amenity for residents to manage their personal laundry needs without leaving the park. One review noted that the water in the laundry machines did not have the same smell as the shower water.
  • Internet Service: According to a positive review, the park offers "great internet service." Reliable internet access is a crucial amenity for many modern RVers, whether for work, entertainment, or staying connected.
  • Affordable Monthly Rates: The park advertises competitive monthly rates, with a review citing "$514 a month for uncovered with processing fees," suggesting an affordable option for long-term stays in the area.

Based on various feedback from residents, Eagle Creek RV Park has several features and highlights, alongside aspects that prospective residents should be aware of:

  • Gated Community: This feature provides an added layer of security, contributing to a more controlled environment for residents.
  • Good Internet Service: A strong and reliable internet connection is a significant positive for residents who rely on it for work, communication, or entertainment.
  • Affordable Monthly Rates: The park offers competitive pricing for long-term stays, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious individuals or those needing extended accommodation.
  • Proximity to Azle Amenities: Its location in Azle provides residents with convenient access to local shops, grocery stores, and services, reducing the need for extensive travel for daily needs.
  • Potential for Community: As with many RV parks, there's potential for residents to form a community, though experiences can vary based on individual interactions.
  • Concerns Regarding Shower Facilities: Feedback indicates issues with the shower house, specifically unpleasant odors and water quality, which could be a significant concern for some.
  • Concerns Regarding Resident Behavior: Multiple reviews highlight significant issues with the behavior of some residents, including alleged drug use and sales, loud disturbances (e.g., motorcycle engines, drunken behavior), and harassment. This creates a potentially unsafe and unwelcoming environment, particularly noted as "not a safe place for kids" and possibly more suited as a "man camp."
  • Management Responsiveness to Issues: While initial contact with management was described as nice, one review states that concerns about drug activity were "clearly not cared for," and that management might treat residents differently if issues are raised, leading to a decision not to return. Another review mentions a "rude attitude" from one of the owners, Josh, after the first month, leading to an unfair invoice and prompting a move.
  • Nuisance Residents: Specific mentions of an older gentleman "tweaking" and being a "massive nuisance" further point to challenges with some individuals within the park.

Eagle Creek RV Park presents an option for locals in Texas, particularly those seeking an affordable, long-term RV parking solution in the Azle area. For individuals engaged in oilfield work or other male-dominated industries who require cost-effective "man camp" style accommodation, this park might align with their specific needs, especially if prioritizing low cost and proximity to the Fort Worth area. The gated community aspect and reportedly good internet service could be appealing practical benefits for those looking for a relatively secure and connected place to stay.

However, prospective local residents, particularly families or individuals seeking a peaceful and strictly drug-free environment, should carefully consider the extensive feedback regarding resident behavior, alleged drug activity, and management's perceived lack of responsiveness to these serious concerns. While the park has potential due to its location and basic amenities, the highly critical reviews regarding safety, noise, and management's handling of issues suggest that it may not be suitable for all types of residents. Texans are advised to conduct a thorough personal visit and direct consultation with park management to ascertain if the environment truly meets their comfort and safety standards before committing to a stay.
