We’ll delve into its location, the services it offers, its standout features, and why it might be the perfect local getaway for you.
Delta Shores Resort & Marina is strategically located at 601 Brannan Island Rd, Isleton, CA 95641, USA. This address places it squarely within the heart of the California Delta, a vast inland estuary formed by the confluence of the Sacramento and San Joaquin Rivers. For California residents, particularly those in Northern California, its accessibility is a key advantage. Isleton is a charming, historic town that serves as a gateway to the Delta's extensive waterways, islands, and rural landscapes.
From major metropolitan areas like Sacramento, the drive to Delta Shores is relatively short and scenic, involving pleasant routes through agricultural lands and along the levee roads that characterize the Delta. For those traveling from the San Francisco Bay Area or other parts of California, the journey offers a distinct change of scenery, leading you into a unique ecological and recreational zone. The location on Brannan Island Road suggests direct access to the water, a significant draw for a marina resort. While a review mentioned a potentially challenging "driveway," this likely refers to the rural nature of access roads common in the Delta, which eventually lead to the park's tranquil setting. The resort's placement within the Delta means immediate access to boating, fishing, and exploring the intricate sloughs and rivers that define this region. Its proximity to Isleton also provides convenient access to local amenities, small-town charm, and a taste of Delta culture.
Delta Shores Resort & Marina aims to provide a comfortable and secure environment for its guests, offering a range of services designed to enhance the RV camping experience. Based on customer feedback and typical RV park offerings, guests can generally expect the following:
RV Sites with Hookups: The park provides dedicated RV sites, and while specific hookup details (e.g., 30/50 amp, water, sewer) would be standard, it's noted that sewer site availability can be subject to maintenance issues, as experienced by one customer. It's always advisable to confirm hookup availability when booking, especially for specific site types.
On-Site Management: The presence of friendly and welcoming managers, such as Cory and Lynn mentioned in a review, indicates dedicated on-site staff committed to assisting guests and fostering a positive atmosphere.
Security Personnel: The mention of Julianny, the "security lead," highlights a focus on guest safety and park security. Having a visible and professional security presence helps ensure a secure and smoothly operating environment, which is a significant service for peace of mind.
Marina Access: As a "Resort & Marina," a primary service is likely direct access to a marina, catering to guests with boats. This would typically include slips for mooring, launching facilities, and potentially fuel services, though specific details would need confirmation directly with the resort.
General Park Maintenance: While one review pointed out a lapse in mowing, the general expectation for an RV park includes routine maintenance of common areas, landscaping, and facilities to ensure a pleasant environment for all guests. It's important for potential visitors to inquire about current maintenance schedules if this is a significant concern.
These services collectively contribute to a functional and secure environment, allowing guests to focus on enjoying their stay in the scenic California Delta.
Delta Shores Resort & Marina possesses several key features and highlights that contribute to its appeal as a tranquil and welcoming RV destination in the California Delta.
Quiet and Peaceful Atmosphere: A consistent highlight from positive reviews is the park's serene environment. It's described as "quiet and peaceful," making it an ideal retreat for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy a calm setting.
Beautiful Scenery: The location within the California Delta naturally provides "beautiful scenery." This includes views of waterways, local wildlife, and the unique landscape of the Delta region, offering a picturesque backdrop for your stay.
Strong Sense of Safety and Security: The presence of a dedicated "security lead" and a general feeling of being "always safe" contribute significantly to the positive experience. This focus on security ensures peace of mind for solo travelers and families alike.
Friendly and Welcoming Community: Multiple reviews emphasize the warm and friendly interactions with both staff and fellow campers. The managers, Cory and Lynn, were described as "very friendly and welcoming," and neighbors were "just as friendly and welcoming," fostering a genuine "sense of community." This is a significant highlight, especially for those who appreciate social interaction in a campground setting.
Ideal for Solo Travelers: One reviewer, traveling solo, specifically recommended Delta Shores for others in a similar situation, noting that they "never felt alone" due to the friendly environment. This highlights its suitability for individuals seeking a comfortable and secure solo adventure.
Direct Delta Access: As a "Marina" resort, a core feature is its direct access to the California Delta waterways, making it perfect for boating, fishing, and other water-based activities that are synonymous with the region.
While some isolated negative feedback regarding specific maintenance and customer service incidents has been noted, the recurring positive themes of peace, safety, and community suggest these are the primary distinguishing features of Delta Shores Resort & Marina.

Delta Shores Resort & Marina Reviews
I stayed at Delta Shores Marina Resort by myself and had a great experience. Cory and Lynn, the managers, were very friendly and welcoming. They made me feel right at home. The park is quiet and peaceful, with beautiful scenery. I always felt safe during my stay. Julianny, the security lead, was helpful and professional. He was always around and made sure everything was secure and running smoothly. The neighbors in the park were just as friendly and welcoming. Even though I was traveling solo, I never felt alone. There’s a real sense of community here that you don’t always find in other places.I highly recommend Delta Shores if you're looking for a calm, safe, and friendly place to stay.
Jun 02, 2025 · Elizabeth FranzeWe made our reservation months ago, when we arrived the staff said there were no sewer sites available, due to a broken tank. However, it was only broken in the section available to coast to coast. We were only there two days so no big. Theafternoon before we left seemed to be the only day they could mow, the place hadn't been mowed for a while. So, I had to go out and clean the grass off my RV from where they had to mow right around my rig. This place has all the customer service of an cable company, stay away, don't bother with this pitSo, now I've been accused of "yelling" at the front desk, and making her cry.First off, I asked for a manager, I had to raise my voice a bit because of the mowers.I have been on the road for 3 1/2 years, hands down, the most horrible experience I have ever had with park personnel. This is a horrible place, please don't even think about coming here , not to mention the drivewayNo
Apr 05, 2025 · Keith FarrisWe have a class B Camper Van and enjoyed the President’s Day weekend at Delta Shores Resort and Marina. It was a nice weekend, very quiet and the host, Lynn was very pleasant. Bathroom and shower very clean with hot water. If you like boating and fishing, this is the place. Isleton and Walnut Grove towns nearby. Mel’s ice cream in Walnut Grove worth visiting. I had 2 shots of espresso with a scoop of bing cherry ice cream was my choice replacing my daily hot coffee. The only thing we didn’t like was the uneven soft grass ground.
Feb 23, 2025 · Deniece KNothing like pulling up to a campground after a day of driving only to find out their sewer is overflowing & their water has been out for 3 days so you gotta start calling campgrounds all over the place to see if they have a last minute space available.I was excited to stay here, too. Never again. Also, FYI... there is a very steep descent down to the campground. Larger rigs could get damaged!
Mar 22, 2025 · L BMLynn was an awesome host! He made us feel so welcomed and gave us the perfect rundown of the resort. We loved staying here and look forward to coming back soon! This location was easy to access, had an awesome private dock we fished off of (and had some good catches!) we even got to do a little paddle boarding when the current wasn't too strong! Clean and comfortable cabin! We didn't use all the amenities, but loved having access to them. It was a nice peaceful getaway that wasn't crowded! Thank you again Lynn for your hospitality! (:
