Nestled in the bustling area of Virginia Beach, this community has a history and a future that residents are watching closely. For those seeking an alternative to traditional housing in a highly desirable part of our Commonwealth, mobile home communities can offer a more accessible entry point to a stable living situation. Daydream Mobile Home Community, with its recent change in management, represents an evolving option for residents in Virginia Beach.
It's important to set clear expectations when considering any mobile home community, and Daydream is no exception. While the provided information suggests a past that had its challenges, there's also a glimmer of hope and ongoing efforts under new ownership. This article aims to provide a factual and balanced perspective, drawing directly from resident experiences to help you, our local Virginia users, understand what Daydream Mobile Home Community offers today, and what its potential holds for the future. We'll cover its location, what amenities or services might be available, and what makes it a suitable consideration for some Virginians.
Daydream Mobile Home Community is located at 4053 W Neck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23456, USA. This address places it within Virginia Beach, one of Virginia's most iconic and populated cities, known for its extensive coastline, vibrant tourism, and strong military presence. While the park itself is situated on West Neck Road, which offers a quieter, more residential feel, it benefits from being within the larger Virginia Beach metropolitan area.
For Virginia residents, particularly those in the Hampton Roads area, this location provides a strategic balance. West Neck Road offers a degree of separation from the high-traffic tourist zones, allowing for a more peaceful everyday environment. However, essential services, including grocery stores, retail centers, medical facilities, and schools, are within a convenient driving distance. Access to major roadways like the Virginia Beach Boulevard and other arterial roads means that residents can easily commute to various parts of Virginia Beach for work, leisure, or appointments. The famous Virginia Beach Oceanfront, with its beaches, boardwalk, and attractions, is also reasonably accessible, allowing residents to enjoy all that the city has to offer.
This location makes Daydream Mobile Home Community appealing for those who desire the Virginia Beach lifestyle but prefer a more settled, community-oriented living situation away from the immediate tourist hub. It provides an opportunity for potentially more affordable living within a highly sought-after region of Virginia.
Information directly detailing the specific services offered by Daydream Mobile Home Community under its current management is somewhat limited in the provided reviews, which primarily focus on management and property conditions. However, based on what can be inferred from the nature of a mobile home community and resident feedback, the core services would typically include:
Lot Rentals: The primary service provided is the rental of land lots upon which residents place their manufactured or mobile homes. These lots would typically come with hookups for essential utilities.
Basic Utility Access: While individual residents are responsible for their utility bills, the community facilitates access to necessary connections such as water, sewer, and electricity at each lot. One historical review mentioned "well water, and septic tanks," indicating that the community might operate on a private utility system rather than city services, which is common in some mobile home parks.
Property Management: The park operates under management responsible for overseeing the community, handling tenant relations, collecting rents, and enforcing community rules. Recent reviews indicate a change in ownership and ongoing efforts by "new owners who are more involved" in addressing property issues.
Community Maintenance (Under Improvement): Reviews suggest that maintenance of the community is a focus of the new management. While past issues were noted ("Needs work for sure," "dump in 1973"), current efforts are being made to "fix it up" and "cleaned up a little," indicating ongoing work on common areas and infrastructure.
It is crucial for prospective residents to directly inquire about the current status of all services, including utility types, maintenance schedules, and any planned improvements, as this appears to be an area of transition and development for the community.

Could be a great place to live. It's quiet and the few mobile homes that are livable have very nice tenants almost all tenants anyway. Needs work for sure.Update- new owners who are more involved who are talking about fixing it up. Will Update again when things start getting fixed hopefully soonHopefully this doesn't effect me but I'm going to say it anyway. Thought new owners were going to be better. Unfortunately same as last owner 😕 cleaned up a little but damn near impossible to get service work done. I had high hopes but for nothing
Oct 25, 2024 · Brandon LewisThis mobile community was a dump in 1973 until my parents bought it. They were "on property" owners, not just investment income investors. The property and mobile homes were very well kept up. The pond was clean, rents were reasonable and the tenants great. It's sad to see the owners don't care.
Mar 27, 2019 · Donna RobertsDoesnt look like the pictures when visiting in person. Gives a bad name to mobile home parks when looking the way it does. Looks like a run down mess. Sorry to have to say....but its the truth. Nice drive to get out there and then what a let down.
