### What is Worth Choosing
Choosing Crested Butte RV Resort is a decision to prioritize a premium, quiet, and exceptionally well-located mountain camping experience in one of Colorado’s most iconic towns. The single most compelling reason to choose this park is its combination of seclusion and accessibility. Guests get the best of both worlds: a peaceful, riverfront site with stunning mountain views that feels like a genuine wilderness escape, coupled with the ability to reach the restaurants, shops, and cultural heart of downtown Crested Butte via a short bike ride on a dedicated path. This balance is a true rarity in the high country.
Furthermore, the resort’s commitment to quality under its dedicated, women-owned management team ensures a stay that is both comfortable and hassle-free. The facilities—particularly the spotless, modern private showers—are a consistent highlight that elevates the camping experience, often noted as being far superior to those found at typical RV parks. For the avid outdoors enthusiast, the private Slate River access for fly-fishing is an invaluable amenity, offering a secluded and fruitful angling opportunity that few public sites can match. While the lack of an onsite sewer dump requires a quick trip to town, this trade-off is widely considered worth it for the beautiful location and the enforced, quiet atmosphere. For a truly memorable, relaxing, and adventure-ready basecamp in Crested Butte, this resort is the clear premium choice.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The shower and bathroom are great. Spots are well explained for size of your Rv. The place is well maintained, the spots are level, the common area is nice. I didn’t use it. The dump in town was easy to use. Check the website to make sure it is open. As for the rules people were crying about. I kept my dogs off the grass where the signs are, on a leash and cleaned up after them it wasn't hard. I didn't meet the owners but I for one appreciate their rules.
September 02 · JASON GOLEMHidden gem, genius idea. Beautiful property with truly amazing river access (my husband caught about 15 fish, thanks to the recommendations of the owner!) This was quite literally the quietest camping spot we've ever had the pleasure of visiting. The facilities were immaculate - there is nothing like a hot shower after a day of hiking and/or mountain biking. Even if you have one in your RV (as we do) it's not the same as having a really nice place to wash off and freshen up. It's only about a five minute drive from town and there is also a bike path close by. The owner is an amazing person and we wouldn't hesitate to say here again.
June 29 · Katie WelkerWe had the best time in at Crested Butte RV for the first time this month. It's a gorgeous landscaped RV camping site and limited amount of spots so very relaxing and private. There is a huge grass area for kiddos to enjoy, and run around near the river. There is also a grill and blackstone for use for group cooking so anyone you're camping with (or friends you meet there) can all cook/eat together. The owners even came down and enjoyed the community campfire with us one evening and we had a fantastic time!. We even got to see some bears from the river (at a safe distance away)! I would highly recommend and can't wait to make it back!
July 20 · Heather CoffeyAwesome RV park! The park is right next to town so it’s easy to access everything Crested Butte has to offer. The owners are very kind and accommodating. Amazing views and the kids loved playing on the grass and in the creek. The bathrooms and community areas were all very clean. We’ll be coming back every year.
July 16 · Michael BucknerThis RV park has incredible views and is very close to town. Dogs aren't allowed on some grassy areas FYI. If you hate rules you might have a hard time here. I didn't mind the rules though. I actually used the dog free grass area by the river for grounding barefoot it was nice.
