Location and Accessibility
Covered Wagon Travel Trailer Park is officially located at Office, 21450 S Tamiami Trl, Estero, FL 33928, USA. This address places it directly on South Tamiami Trail (US-41), a major north-south artery in Southwest Florida. Estero is a rapidly developing community nestled between Fort Myers and Bonita Springs, offering a strategic location for accessing various regional amenities and attractions.
The park's position on US-41 ensures high visibility and convenient access for those traveling by RV. This main thoroughfare provides direct routes to a multitude of shopping centers, including Coconut Point Mall, Miromar Outlets, and Gulf Coast Town Center, all offering extensive retail, dining, and entertainment options. Essential services such as grocery stores, pharmacies, and healthcare facilities are also readily accessible within a short driving distance. For recreation, Estero is close to stunning Gulf Coast beaches like Barefoot Beach Preserve and Bonita Beach, providing opportunities for sunbathing, swimming, and water sports. The area is also known for its golf courses, nature preserves, and proximity to Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) is also conveniently located nearby, making it accessible for travelers. While the direct access to a main road is a benefit for travel, potential residents should consider the possible noise levels associated with being on a major highway. The location offers a practical base for exploring all that Southwest Florida has to offer.
Services Offered
Based on the nature of a "Travel Trailer Park" and general industry standards, alongside the available reviews, here's an overview of the services likely offered at Covered Wagon Travel Trailer Park, with important notes on reported issues:
- RV Sites with Hookups: It can be presumed the park offers designated RV sites, typically with water, electricity (likely 30 and 50 amp options), and sewer hookups for the convenience of travel trailer occupants.
- Laundry Facilities: A laundry room is present, as it was mentioned in a review. However, the review explicitly states that "the machines are always broke down they don’t work," indicating significant issues with the functionality and maintenance of these facilities.
- Trash Disposal: Dumpsters are available for waste disposal. However, a review notes that "the trash is always full trash everywhere," suggesting a lack of timely emptying and maintenance.
- Water Service: Water is supplied to the sites. A serious concern raised is that the management "turns off the water without informing anyone in the park," causing significant inconvenience, especially "early in the morning when you’re getting ready for work."
- Septic/Sewer System: A septic system is implied, but a review highlights a severe issue: "the septic tank the water always going down the street imagen the smell," which points to significant problems with the park's wastewater management infrastructure.
Prospective residents should exercise caution and directly inquire about the current status and reliability of these services, given the strong negative feedback.
Features / Highlights
While a professional content writer would typically highlight positive features, it is crucial to present a factual account based on the provided customer reviews. The reviews for Covered Wagon Travel Trailer Park, unfortunately, focus heavily on significant concerns, making it difficult to list traditional "highlights." Instead, we will address the observations made by customers.
- Management Behavior: Reviews describe the manager, Julie, as "rude and has a mean attitude." Another manager, Jason, is accused of being "rude and call you names has no respect for no body" and of "doing drug" in the back of the park. These are serious allegations that reflect negatively on the park's operational environment.
- Water Supply Instability: A recurring issue is the "randomly shuts off for hours" water supply, often without notice, particularly at inconvenient times like early mornings. This is a critical functional problem for residents.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance Issues: The park is described as "nasty," with "trash everywhere" and laundry machines that are "always broke down." The mention of "septic tank the water always going down the street" points to severe sanitation and maintenance failures.
- General Disrespect: The collective tone of the negative reviews indicates a profound lack of respect from management towards residents, with instances of rude behavior and calling names.
Based on these reviews, the primary "features" highlighted by customers are negative operational and management issues rather than positive amenities or community aspects. Potential visitors or residents should carefully consider these points.

When considering an RV park for a stay in Florida, especially in the Estero area, locals typically seek a blend of convenience, reliable services, and a comfortable environment. Based on the provided public reviews for Covered Wagon Travel Trailer Park, it is difficult to assert its suitability for local residents without addressing the significant concerns raised. While its location on South Tamiami Trail offers direct access to shopping, dining, beaches, and other Southwest Florida attractions, the internal operations of the park, as described by residents, present notable challenges.
The recurring issues of unannounced water shut-offs, reported rudeness from management, persistent problems with laundry facilities, and concerns over trash and septic tank maintenance are critical factors that could severely impact the quality of life for any resident. For Floridians seeking a stress-free and reliable place to park their travel trailer, these operational difficulties would be a significant drawback. A truly suitable local RV park provides not just a place to park, but a well-managed and comfortable living environment. Covered Wagon Travel Trailer Park Reviews
Just be aware if you’re thinking about living here. The manager Julie is rude and has a mean attitude. And she turns off the water without informing anyone in the park. So it’s difficult to do anything at home because the water randomly shuts off for hours. Especially the fact that they turn it off early in the morning when you’re getting ready for work. I find that very careless and inconsiderate.

Feb 16, 2024 · Berenice PerezDirty place some how. Needs cleaning 🧹🧼!! Great people lives here!!!
Jul 02, 2025 · Romaya FuentesIt looks like a decent trailer park, but we were there to deliver food to victims of hurricane Ian. And we did do that and we had a very good reception. The people there were very very nice very humble and very thankful. It's actually not a bad looking trailer park either.
Dec 06, 2022 · JBThe managers are both rude! They act superior to the tenants and they don't bother to fix problems that residents ask them to fix. I rented from them and once my bathroom was not fixed so I asked if they can do anything, the manager gave me a snarky attitude and told me to just talk to the maintenance people (who don't know how to fix anything!) on my own time! Their two big dogs almost attacked my small dog and they began to yell at me! They don't bother to tell people to lower their music in the middle of the night. Way overpriced for small housing.
