In the vast landscape of Texas RV parks, finding a location that truly feels like home, especially for long-term stays, can be a challenge. Many parks are corporately managed, which can sometimes lead to a disconnect between residents' needs and park policies. Country View RV Park, however, presents itself as a refreshing alternative, emphasizing a traditional, community-driven approach that echoes the best of Texas hospitality. From tranquil fishing spots to friendly communal gatherings, this park aims to create an environment where neighbors become friends and the owners are genuinely invested in making your experience exceptional.
Country View RV Park is conveniently situated at 811 Countryview Trl, Princeton, TX 75407, USA. Princeton, a growing city in Collin County, offers the perfect blend of peaceful rural living and convenient access to the bustling North Texas metropolitan area. This strategic location ensures that residents can enjoy the tranquility of a country setting while remaining within easy reach of urban amenities and employment opportunities.
For those traveling through Texas or looking for a long-term base, Country View RV Park’s accessibility is a significant advantage. It's just a short drive from major thoroughfares, allowing for straightforward commutes to nearby cities such as McKinney, Allen, and Plano. This means quick access to a wide array of shopping centers, diverse dining options, entertainment venues, and essential services, including medical facilities and educational institutions. The balance between quiet country roads and proximity to vibrant city life makes Princeton, and by extension, Country View RV Park, an ideal spot for a variety of RV lifestyles, from retirees seeking peace to families needing access to urban conveniences. The address itself, "Countryview Trail," perfectly encapsulates the rural charm this park aims to provide, promising a serene escape without feeling isolated.
While a detailed list of every single service is not explicitly provided in the customer reviews, we can infer a great deal about the park's offerings based on the emphasis on community and owner involvement. Typically, an RV park like Country View would offer:
- Standard RV Hookups: This would include essential connections for water, electricity, and sewer, which are fundamental for any comfortable RV stay, whether short or long-term.
- On-Site Ownership and Management: A key highlight from customer reviews is that "The owners live on site and maintain it beautifully." This direct involvement often translates to more personalized service, quicker resolution of issues, and a genuinely cared-for environment.
- Community-Focused Events: The mention of "country picnics" suggests that the park actively fosters a sense of community through organized social gatherings and events, encouraging interaction among residents.
- Fishing Opportunities: "Fishing" is specifically called out as an activity, implying access to a pond or lake within or adjacent to the park where residents can enjoy this recreational pastime.
- Neighborly Support: The phrase "neighbors helping neighbors" points to an informal, yet strong, support system among residents, which is often cultivated in well-managed, community-oriented parks.
- Well-Maintained Grounds: The owners actively maintaining the property indicates a commitment to keeping the park clean, orderly, and aesthetically pleasing, contributing to a pleasant living environment.
It is important to note that while the community aspect is highly praised, there is a serious concern raised in one review regarding pet policies, specifically concerning service dog training and breed restrictions, even with ADA/FHA considerations. Prospective residents with pets, especially service animals or those in training, should thoroughly discuss these policies with park management to ensure compliance and avoid potential misunderstandings.
Country View RV Park distinguishes itself through several key features and highlights that appeal to a specific demographic of RVers:
- Authentic Community Vibe: The most prominent highlight is the "true, good old-fashioned community" where residents actively engage and support one another. This is a significant draw for those seeking social interaction and a sense of belonging, rather than just a transient parking spot.
- On-Site, Engaged Owners: Unlike many corporate-owned parks, the fact that "The owners live on site and maintain it beautifully" ensures a personal touch, consistent oversight, and a genuine investment in the park's atmosphere and upkeep. This often leads to a higher standard of care and responsiveness.
- Relaxing Recreational Opportunities: The availability of "fishing" provides a peaceful and accessible outdoor activity right at your doorstep, perfect for unwinding and enjoying nature.
- Regular Social Gatherings: "Country picnics" indicate a proactive effort by the park to organize events that bring residents together, fostering friendships and creating memorable experiences.
- Non-Corporate Environment: For those weary of impersonal management and rigid policies often found in larger, corporately run parks, Country View offers a refreshing alternative where decisions might be more flexible and tailored to resident needs, as suggested by the phrase "managers don't really have any say."
However, it's critical to address a significant concern highlighted in one review: the park's dog policy, particularly concerning service animals or service-dog-in-training, and specific breed restrictions, even when ADA/FHA regulations are cited. This issue suggests a potential challenge for pet owners, particularly those with specific needs. Prospective residents are strongly advised to clarify all pet-related policies directly with park management before committing to a stay, especially if they have service animals or breeds that might be subject to restrictions. Understanding these policies upfront is crucial for a smooth and comfortable experience.

Country View RV Park Reviews
Countryview is a true, good old-fashioned community with country picnics, fishing, and neighbors helping neighbors. It's not a corporate owned park where the managers don't really have any say in how things are done. The owners live on site and maintain it beautifully. We were truly blessed to find this wonderful place to live and love belonging to this community.
Apr 13, 2025 · Peggy CrowellThis place doesn’t even allowed you keep a dog here that you are trying to train yourself for a service dog. No matter the breed. And the owner tells you get rid of your dog before your kids get attached to it. Even with the FHA. Still get told no. Because that breed is already out here and they don’t want another one out here to kill each other. Even with ADA.

Apr 22, 2025 · Linda BontragerThis is a very nice RV Park. We love the owners and our neighbors. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. They keep everything clean, have a basketball hoop, storm shelter, doggy park, picnic tables, a small lake out in front, a free bbq and smoker for anyone to use 2 laundry facilities, and sometimes have free cookouts for the guests. They take long term and short term residents.
