Country Escape RV Park Reviews
If I could give zero stars, I truly would. I rented the house located on the property, and the experience was deeply disappointing. Despite paying significantly more than the lot rent charged to trailer tenants, maintenance issues were consistently ignored. The house was in poor condition, and very little—if anything—was ever repaired. After a hurricane, multiple trees fell on the property. I offered to help clean up the damage in exchange for a small rent deduction, which seemed fair given the extensive debris (a job that would likely cost over $10,000 professionally). I was told, “Everyone else is doing it for free—why would I pay you?” Months later, the fallen trees were still untouched.During the winter, the water was repeatedly shut off without warning. On several occasions, my children were left in the shower mid-bath, covered in soap.Things were somewhat better under the old management, but after they left, the situation worsened significantly. I moved out after fulfilling my contract and was told I could get my deposit back if I paid April’s rent—despite ongoing maintenance issues that, under state and federal law, justify a tenant withholding rent or terminating a lease.I made several repair requests by phone, only to be told during move-out that all such requests must be made via text. When I informed her that a friend of mine, who is an attorney, would be assisting me, she mentioned she'd “been to court many times with tenants and always wins.”The final communication included a claim that I was bullying her because she is a woman—which I found inappropriate and deflective. My advice: Do not rent the house or a lot on this property. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend doing business here.

Mar 12, 2025 · Christopher YoungAbsolutley love this place. Many trees for shade, great pool and clubhouse during those hot days. Days and nights are quiet and peaceful. We searched the area southwest of Houston for a RV park that was to our liking and we stopped looking when we found this spot. We love the outdoors, state park feel, and convenient location between Houston and the coast. 11/05/20 UPDATE!!! Skynet WIFI is up and running wonderfully. Greatest addition to the park. Hot tub fully operational, come out and enjoy.
Nov 06, 2020 · Meaux BrewWe have been here for a while now and it is one of the many that we have been to, but I have to say it’s pretty close to one of the best. The manager takes pride in her work to keep the park looking like home, always making sure it’s presentable, adding an extra touch on her own to just help us feel like we are in our own back yard!! She is very easy to work with and if you have any issues at all, she’s always right there to help! All the amenities you need-hot tub, pool, laundry facility and clubhouse with adding extras including bathrooms and showers and activities for the littles 😊 it’s just like it’s own little community! To add to that, it is gated that way not just anyone can come in! Just feels like home for us! Very family oriented and pet friendly!
Oct 27, 2022 · Carolyn TrammellThank you country escape for a clean rv park. I’ve only been here a month and in that time I have met a lot of friendly people that makes you feel like family. The club house is awesome can’t wait to get in the swimming pool and hot tub it’s always so clean looking and the park manager Shanna is beyond awesome. She’s very friendly outspoken and it’s nice to know that there is a manager on site when needed. Her son is always willing to give out a helping hand. It nice to live in a nice country loving environment with lots of things to do on site rather it be from games to craft night to playing with the goats to a nice clean club house with open showers and clean restrooms. Thanks again Laura Johnson
