Country Critters Campground & RV Park Reviews
We stayed at Country Critters for a month. People were friendly, helpful and courteous. Sites are a bit narrow but it was too cold for us to hang outside much anyway! Adamsville is a quaint town and Savannah was not far away. Better be ok with some animal noises ❤️. Great place at a great price! We will be back.

Less than 2 miles from Piggly Wiggly. THEY HAVE TWO MINI GOATS (ELLIE MAE AND JED), A MINI HORSE (LITTLE MAN), AND SOME CHICKENS!! 10/10 WILL VISIT AGAIN!!!

Oct 29, 2024 · StanI don't enjoy writing bad reviews, but this place needs some SERIOUS attention !!! First red flag was upon arrival, noticing that the grass had not been cut in, what looked like, weeks. Secondly, and while I realize that everyone's living situation is different, this place is littered with run down full timers, tarped RVs, trash / debris piles, etc. etc. They claim to have a sandbox and pets to entertain kids, but with the condition the park is in, I would strongly discourage this for safety reasons! The campground 'hosts' kept banging on our door hours after arrival, demanding us to show receipts or explain ourselves, even through we had already paid over the phone. They literally came back THREE TIMES confronting us on verifying card number, names, addresses, etc. Made us feel very unsafe. Wife noticed our security lights coming on at night, so something / someone was lurking around at night. Noise wasn't an issue, as you never see anyone !!! - which is another thing that makes one feel a little uneasy. The park is WAY OUT of the way, in a field, well off the beaten path. Cell coverage is limited, and to my knowledge, there is not wifi service at the park. What's more, there were no trash bins to dispose of garbage, so we had to haul that off site for two days !!! The lots are in very poor condition, flooding is a problem when it rains, the gravel / grass mix sites are terribly overgrown with weeds, debris, etc. Our fire pit was full of old timbers, from what looked like was an old pallet. There was trash lying on the ground, old rags under the plastic picnic table. The trees weren't trimmed and branches hang down to your awning / rv rooftop. Overall, it served its purpose for a night's sleep, but with the flooding rain, terrible weeds, mosquitoes, ants, insects of other types, and the run down condition of the park, this is NOT worth $40 per night !!!!!!I'd suggest that, if the owners ever do read this, that they make some instant changes to their park hosts' attitude about work ethic, cleanliness, safety, and maintenance to the park. Otherwise, this place looks like the kind of place where old beat-up campers go to die! We will not be returning customers!
