Cotillion Gardens RV Park Reviews
Ive been visiting Santa Cruz for decades and had never checked this place out. Boy was I missing out on a hidden gem! With direct access to Henry Cowell and a short drive to town there’s plenty to explore. The staff is fantastic, grounds kept clean, and the redwoods are gorgeous.
Jun 03, 2025 · Danielle McCauleyGoing downhill!! We've stayed here probably 5 times in the past three years and this trip will probably be the last. You can tell the new owners are just money hungry! Park was beyond overcrowded, with some camps having at least 20 people in them, with 3-4 cars as well. NO JOKE. Instead of it being relaxing, there was blaring music all day, people screaming, kids running through people's campsites, fireworks (though they are illegal in SC County!), bathrooms are dirty and often out of toilet paper and no staff to be found after about 5pm (they don't even restock before leaving). Owners made the entrance like a carnival with a bounce house and carnival games so almost impossible to drive in and out.We used to love this place and always recommended it .... But no more.
Jul 05, 2025 · Meghan MiddletonNice campgrounds but needs some definite improvements. The bathrooms are terrible...no windows, not clean, shower pressure is very weak and not enough shower facilities. They need to replace most picnic benches...most are rotted and not safe to sit on. Children should not be allowed in the hot tub. Club hours and hot tub hours should be extended.
Jul 01, 2025 · H CI’m a lifelong visitor of this place. It’s always been known for being a little hidden gem with at times snobby camp hosts. However, if you have kids or dogs this place is hands down the best place to stay. Heated pool and spa, clean restrooms and showers, fun clubhouse with games, neat playground, cute dog park, very quiet despite being packed at times. Forest access with a short walk to the Henry cowell park and train station. It can get pricey but it is worth the stay to feel like you’re escaping and yet still nearby Santa Cruz.Docked a couple of stars because management only discounted $10 off an almost $400 cabin stay (2 nights). When we arrived our cabin didn’t have hot water so we ended up having to shower in the community shower which defeated the purpose of renting a premium cabin… maintenance ended up fixing the water heater the following evening but it still put a major damper on our trip as we had to microwave several cups of hot water to bathe our newborn and wash her bottles. Sad that they only took off $10 for the inconvenience that took up precious time from our trip. You’d think maintenance would check to ensure the cabins are in full working shape before renting them out…
Jul 03, 2025 · JoUnwelcoming. Not accommodating. We were treated like a second hand citizens. Over charged. We cleaned and not refunded my deposit. Just because of your location doesn’t seem right to treat your guests this way. Stayed in a not so good cabin with rats and squirrels and skunks in and below the cabin. This is not exaggeration!Heated pool and spa not available as advertised or clubhouse. Terrible managementThis could be great but it’s a horrible experience
