Jan 03, 2025 · Omar MurciaHonestly, I feel that at least the staff here is taking advantage of the elders here, I don't know if corporate is turning a blind eye or if they really don't know how unhappy the majority of residents are.The famous sayings from the residents that I have personally heard and witnessed.1) They won't do anything.2) They don't care.3) Why bother?People are bothered by how a staff member seems to capitalize on the resident who passes, on homes, cars, and carts. I don't know. What I do know is that I am going to try and get them to follow their rules just like we have to follow ours. I regret buying here, I have been here for 3 months, the first day we were moving furniture in a guy walked up onto my porch introducing himself, hitting on me 🥴, telling me how the two girls that manage the place are bi--h-s, they don't do anything, I called for my husband to come out 🫡. Once we were in we wanted to upgrade the front yard, got the okay from Maria. The next day we dug a trench to start setting up the fence, we went inside for a minute and someone knocked on our door it was the mail woman she started telling us we couldn't put our fence where it was going otherwise she would have to hit the fence she took us outside and showed us how she needs to drive to deliver the mail to our mailbox she then proceeds to drive her little USPS 🚑 on to the brick-lined on my property, drives over neighbors brick so she doesn't have to get out. The next morning I went to the office and Dee was in, I asked her "Since when does the Mail Person get to tell us what to do on our property?" I tell the story of what occurred Dee says "Well they aren't required to get out of their vehicles when I called the post office that is what they said" 😵💫 #/#@!?" # I said, "They don't have the right to run over our fences, flowers, shrubs, yard decorations and how does she deliver the mail to you?" Dee said "Well if she does hit it it will be between you and the post office" I looked at her and said" If they hit my fence it will be between me and Coralwood Corporate" and walked out. Went home and looked up USPS Laws & regulations"Mailboxes" YES, they are not required to get out due to no sidewalks, however, the mailboxes are not placed properly and are not to code, they sit too far back. Not my problem it should be Coralwood and the Post office (PO) problem. I did call and speak to a supervisor at the PO, he confirmed everything I read is true except for the mail person running over personal property. So we made some adjustments to accommodate the mean mail woman, but she still hasn't acknowledged us. Next, the pool water is so hot and the hot tub is cold it has been like this for 2 weeks ago and all this week, no one has responded to emails or messages, we talk to the answering service more than I talk or see the two girls. Not one new resident has said anything nice about them or the corporation at first I just thought that I was just meeting a small group that felt that way I even tried to defend them, uhh nope 😞, two women like to go around and make sure ppl are behaving 🤬 yeah they won't mess with me anymore.The 30-something manager owns and lives on-site with a definitely under-55 boyfriend. 🤔 There is a MH that is being rented out right now. 🤔 There are people renting rooms NOT 55 and not there for health reasons from MH owners. 🤔 There is no access to the back gate, neighborhood people cut through the park they have the code I guess. Homeless people hang out in the afternoon at the main entrance waterfall. 🤔 The people I have met apologized to me for buying here. Dee was out for at least 2 weeks, no one knew, and by not knowing we won't know Maria is short-staffed, but, she said it wasn't anybody's business, you are running a business and they do work for us, they are here for us. Every single company I have worked for or owned that involves dealing with clients or residence company policy is putting an out-of-office email.So I am sticking to myself for now I don't want to hear any more apologies and negative information. 😭

The current team is the best property management team in northern California because they enforce all the rules and regulations. We no longer have alcoholic beverages around the pool or droves of children that do not live with their grandparents running around. The on-site laundry mat has been upgraded and is very user friendly. The pool is now maintained at a comfortable temperature year around and kept very clean. The deck tables and patio furniture give it a country club feel. The new gas lines make us feel very safe and as if we won't have an incident in the community. The driveways and roadways now appear brand new. The paint scheme approved by the office is very pleasing to the eye and the approval for our roof was painless. All our other remodeling meets or exceeds the CA building codes. Ten years ago we had undesirable tenants in the community. The current management weeded out all the undesirables and there are now no residents I would not invite over for Sunday dinner. We are happy with all the rules, regulations, and community guidelines-- especially no parking in the streets-- in place at Coralwood Estates and can not wait to continue being a part of such a wonderful community going forward. Thank you Maria and Dee for being so wonderful on site as members of our local management team!
