Clayton Park RV Escape Reviews
I couldn’t wait to give this review, we have been traveling around the country try for the past month, on our way back to Massachusetts, we decided on one last night in the van and a fire. We have not made many reservations along our trip, it’s off season where we were traveling so it was easy to find a place.I decided to head straight for the RV park, it is located not far off the highway, and very quiet. I pulled up to the gate and pressed the call button, a very nice woman answered the call and seemed surprise. I mentioned that we are just off the road and looking for a spot. She hesitated and said yes. We met her husband who showed us to our spot on the water, he was very nice and we chatted for a bit, I then realized they were closed for the season but opened for us. I was so taken back at their hospitality that’s why I could not wait to make this review. The spot was perfect right on the lake, power and a fire pit, he offered us a crate full of firewood, and asked if there was anything we needed. I walked around the beautiful grounds with perfect camping spots on the lake. The lake was full of geese and herin. The next morning we met at the front gate, thanked him for the amazing hospitality.I will be back here again and I recommend anyone traveling through or spend some time here, you can’t go wrong.
Apr 01, 2025 · bostonh2oThis was a last minute booking for us on a cross country trip for 3 months. What a find. Simple stunning. Beautiful spot. Clean, well stocked store, lake front, amazing bathrooms, new laundry facilities, super friendly staff can’t wait to return someday. Great place to walk dogs.
Jun 04, 2025 · Kimberley BanksNice place to RV overnight as we passed through. Owners were very friendly. Bathrooms were very clean. Had a nice pool open after Memorial Day, so we didn't get a chance to actually swim this time. Definitely would recommend to anyone coming through.
May 15, 2025 · Mary KellerBeautiful! Maurice & Sonya were great hosts. Debbie was incredibly helpful with reservations, reminders, and directions for the best route to the resort. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer.
May 26, 2025 · Elisa McCoyWe have been full timing for 5 years now and I have to say that this is one of the best parks we have ever ever been at. I cannot say enough good about this park. The managers and all the staff are such sweet people. I have never seen manager working so hard from sun up to sun down seven days a week. The entire park is immaculate! All the staff always have a smile on their face. The store is well stocked and u can even take your pet in for a treat. My husband would sit outside under the tree and fall asleep it was that quiet and relaxing. Even when there were children around. The activities are plentiful from pot lucks to Saturday music from various musicians. Grab ur chair and just go sit by the lake and listen. Thank you so very much Sonja and Maurice for everything you do to make this park beautiful and enjoyable. If we are ever back we will definitely be calling you to book a site.
