The accessibility and precise location of a mobile home park are crucial factors for residents, impacting daily commutes, access to services, and overall convenience. Cedar Creek Mobile Home Park is strategically located at 5851 US-31, Peru, IN 46970, USA. This address places the park directly along a major U.S. highway, which is a significant advantage for connectivity.
Being situated on US-31 means that residents of Cedar Creek Mobile Home Park have relatively straightforward access to various points within Peru and beyond. US-31 is a primary north-south route through Indiana, facilitating travel to nearby cities such as Kokomo to the south or Rochester to the north. This makes the park a practical choice for those who might commute for work, need to access broader regional services, or simply enjoy traveling throughout Indiana.
Peru, itself, is a city in Miami County known for its local charm and community spirit. While US-31 is a busier thoroughfare, the specific placement of the park along this route often means that essential amenities like grocery stores, gas stations, dining options, and other retail services are typically within a short driving distance. The convenience of being on a main highway can be a major benefit, reducing travel time for everyday errands and connecting residents to the wider infrastructure of the area. For those who prioritize ease of travel and access to main routes while still being part of a local Indiana community, Cedar Creek Mobile Home Park's location presents a notable consideration.
Mobile home parks typically offer a foundational set of services centered around the rental of individual lots for manufactured homes. While specific details for every aspect of Cedar Creek Mobile Home Park's services are not comprehensively detailed in public information, the core offerings generally include:
Lot Rental: The primary service provided is the rental of land lots where residents can place their mobile or manufactured homes. This is the fundamental agreement between the resident and the park.
Utility Connections: While residents are typically responsible for their own utility usage, the park provides the necessary infrastructure for homes to connect to essential services such as water, sewer, and potentially electricity and natural gas. Residents are usually billed separately for their consumption of these utilities.
Community Management: Professional management oversees the park's operations, including lot assignments, rent collection, and addressing resident concerns.
Maintenance of Common Areas: The park management is generally responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of shared spaces, including internal roads, community landscaping, and any common facilities (e.g., green spaces).
Waste Management: Many parks facilitate trash collection services for their residents, though the specifics of billing (whether included in lot rent or separately charged) can vary.
Community Guidelines: While not a 'service' in the traditional sense, the establishment and enforcement of community rules and regulations are vital for maintaining a consistent and harmonious living environment for all residents. These rules often cover aspects such as property appearance, noise levels, and pet policies.
Based on resident feedback, it's important to note that concerns regarding water quality and inconsistent enforcement of property improvement requirements have been raised. Prospective residents are encouraged to inquire directly about these aspects to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current conditions and policies at the park.

Cedar Creek Mobile Home Park Reviews
Lived there for a yr in 2021. The 1st thing I will say is NEVER drink the water. MGMT was always having you do something to improve your trailer while others did nothing. They keep raising the lot rent every 6-12 months and let's not forget the trash and the water and sewer bill you payI refused to pay for nasty well water that was always brown or orange. And every month we got a letter to boil our water if you go to some of there other trailer parks they are pretty run down also with the same issues .look elsewhere for a place to stay. Oh and most neighbors snitch on you to MGMT
