September 09 · Alex OmegaReally ,seems like the people are very easy going and laid back. Country living . No Vacancy. DJ and Khalid no longer manage the place. We've got Daniel, really easy going real kind. I love living, here. Been here for 3 years. I couldn't ask for any better place to live. Very peaceful everybody keeps themselves. When somebody doesn't. Usually the other person will let them know, or they'll let Daniel know. Daniel always handles everything peacefully, and most of the time the dispute is resolved and very peaceful. Very thankful for Daniel and how professional he is. Also I would like to add that I'm thankful and grateful that DJ is, no longer managing Carter valley campground. And the fella that posted he's a felon, no longer stays here. Too much hassle all the time.
March 13 · Randy SchellerBest place EVER for long term RV'ing!!!!Safe, QUIET, low drama, and LOTS of perks to make up for the lack of a few updated amenities. Pay more at other parks for a pool, or live here for less than any other park around. The Chilson Center has an awesome pool!!
May 18 · Savannah RoseHad a one night stop over on route to Rocky Mountains NP. DJ the manager was great. We had a full hook up and level site. The site is mostly full time people but quiet and great for on route travelling. Good amenities too. Thanks DJ.
August 19 · John BelbeckWell upon arrival i was told she had no sites even though she took my card # over the phone charged me for the site only to have given it to someone else that said they made the reservation. Don't they check ID's???? after getting that squared away the management put me in a site and never even apologized for the mix up, in addition when we went to pay for another month she told us we would be moving to another site at the end of the day which was like two hour notice...??? Plus the new site was not big enough but having no notice to try and find a new park we were forced to try and make it work. the space was 38 feet long and we are 35 feet. in trying to squeeze in we ended up having damage done to our trailer, and then was yelled and cursed at for not fitting, go figure. when we asked for a refund we were told there is none. Well guess they like to be sneaky and get away with fraud. If i could find the owners I would make a formal complaint, When asked the management said the owners trusted their judgment and did not want to hear from me. Well I made a formal complaint to the BBB.
