Customer reviews offer valuable insights into the lived experience within a community. One long-term resident of Carson Harbor Village, who has been living there since 1993, notes that "Place has declined since, space rent is lowest around. Homes sell for around $250,000. Not a bad place to live really." This review highlights a couple of critical points. First, the acknowledgment of a "decline" suggests that certain aspects of the park's condition or management may have deteriorated over time. This could pertain to maintenance of common areas, responsiveness of management, or overall upkeep. However, a significant positive is the assertion that "space rent is lowest around," which is a major draw for affordability in the competitive California housing market. The mention of homes selling for "around $250,000" provides a realistic price point for homeownership within the park, which is considerably more accessible than traditional housing in the region. Despite the perceived decline, the resident concludes with "Not a bad place to live really," indicating that the benefits, particularly the low space rent, might outweigh the drawbacks for some.
Another resident, who has lived there for 8 years, offers a more introspective perspective: "I've been living here for 8 years and throughout 8 years of me living here, other people living here seem really reclusive and cliquish which is why this place is really isolating and lonely to live in." This review sheds light on the social atmosphere within the park, describing it as "reclusive and cliquish," leading to feelings of "isolating and lonely." This suggests that while there may be a community, it might not be overtly welcoming to newcomers or those seeking a highly interactive social environment. For individuals who prioritize a strong sense of communal engagement and easy social integration, this aspect could be a significant consideration. Conversely, for those who prefer a quieter, more private living arrangement, this characteristic might not be a deterrent. Both reviews, though distinct, emphasize the importance of personal priorities when evaluating Carson Harbor Village as a potential home.
For individuals interested in learning more about Carson Harbor Village, including current space availability, specific rental terms, and a comprehensive list of amenities, direct communication with the park management is the most effective approach. They can provide the most accurate and up-to-date information, address any specific questions, and guide you through the application process. Scheduling a visit is also highly recommended to experience the community firsthand.

Its strategic location on Avalon Boulevard provides residents with excellent accessibility to major freeways, facilitating convenient travel throughout Los Angeles County and easy access to essential amenities, employment centers, and recreational activities. The insights from existing residents offer a balanced view: while one review points to a perceived decline over time and a potentially isolating social environment for some, it strongly highlights the significant advantage of having "lowest space rent around" and relatively affordable home prices (around $250,000). This affordability makes it a compelling choice for many seeking homeownership in California's high-cost real estate market. The park's established nature, with long-term residents, suggests a stable community, even if social interactions are described as reclusive by some. Feb 15, 2025 · Joshua BuchananNeeds to have a cable for high speed internet. The mobile homes are old, needing an upgrade. However I do want to add one balance that this place is gated. It has a swimming pool, a repairman, a pool table, a refreshments bar/meeting room, & a community laundry room. It also has a picnic table & a viewing platform for a forested area.
Jan 03, 2021 · Lisa Ann TyreeI live here. The facilities are usually clean. If u dont have a community issued ID card u cant do anything here. If u have a pet keep it in doors as there's coyotes inside of the parks wetland. Yes the wetland is the most beautiful park of living here as it allows for more biodiversity than the surrounding area. Would get 5 stars but my neighbor is awful. As they are extremely religious and feel they are superior to me.
Sep 20, 2018 · GiGiIf you ever call after hours to obtain help the on call lady is rude and condescending. She had the nerve to yell at me and call me a liar. The worst and will not help with anything. Why would they put someone who obviously hates their job to help people. Hope they get rid of her soon.
