Carmel By the River RV Park Reviews
We enjoyed our stay for one night at this site! Our only (big) complaint is that the showers felt unsafe. Rather than shower stalls for privacy, they use curtains. There was no ease of mind while I was showering, especially since I was showering at night and the door into the women's restroom is quiet (in the case that someone snuck in). Please renovate inside the showers to make your guests more comfortable, especially since we paid $140 to be there!
May 27, 2025 · Hannah HuberThis was a great break from the commercial RV parks and we enjoyed our two weeks in this beautiful little campground set amongst the hills and the trees. The gardens and hedges made the sites very private and made this campground a delight to stay in and enjoy the birds and the frogs. This campground is in a great location to visit Carmel, Monterey and Big Sur. We will definitely come back here next time we are in the area.
May 25, 2025 · Emily PiperSo well maintained! If you get a spot with patio furniture, it is great quality! Even the fences in the park are impeccably painted. Tons of plants and flower beds. Very quaint and quiet place to stay yet close enough to Carmel by the Sea and Monterey towns.Definitely will be back!

Apr 29, 2025 · Yeslin RuizWow! This place is truly a hidden gem. Quiet and peaceful with most sites having privacy hedges between them. Beautiful landscaping. Level sites with fresh gravel and a very friendly and accommodating team.A short 15 minute drive to Carmel and 20 minutes to Monterey. Great restaurants in wineries within minutes of the park in the valley.Only downside is the circuitous narrow Road from the highway to the park.
