Canon City Mobile Home Park and Self Storage Introduce
For Colorado residents searching for cost-effective housing that combines residential living with the practicality of on-site storage, the **Canon City Mobile Home Park and Self Storage** presents a distinctive option. Located in the beautiful and historic setting of Cañon City in Fremont County, this property uniquely blends a manufactured home community with self-storage facilities, catering to individuals and families who require both accessible living and secure space for their belongings.
This community stands out as a source of affordable housing in the local market, making the dream of home ownership, or affordable long-term renting, more attainable for many. Like many mobile home parks in the state, it offers a space for manufactured homes, providing residents with an independent, single-story living environment. The dual function of the property—offering both residences and storage—is a convenience not often found in dedicated residential communities.
It is important for prospective residents to be aware that the community has experienced some challenges related to management consistency and neighborhood standards, as suggested by customer feedback which notes multiple sales and management changes over a short period. Current and former tenants have expressed concerns regarding property maintenance, neighborhood safety, and management responsiveness. However, the property’s presence in the market remains a key resource for affordable manufactured home living in the Cañon City area, and some residents are actively exploring options for community ownership, a significant effort that could lead to improved stability and resident-focused operations in the future.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Poor management. They let drug dealers to live here and hassle the other tenants. I wouldn't recommend living here cuz they hassle you for weeds but won't keep up the empty lots. Very unsafe neighborhood. The staff (only one) don't care about the community or the people living here. I have lived here for 25 years and am disabled and get treated like I'm a hassle. If I could move I would.
April 21 · Carla MBecoming run down. The park has been sold 3 times in 5 yrs. Just a bunch of back east investors padding their pocket before they move on. Currently, The Community is going to try to be community owned. No maintenance person. Ran by a bunch of cash cows. Using us for their slush funds.
March 24 · randy lawsonWas a really nice neighborhood but after 3 or 4 different property owners it has definitely gone down hill. Broken down cars blocking the roads. Trailers missing skirting. Trash blowing around everywhere
January 18 · Philip StevensIt was ok but i couldnt find the property manager or the owner or whatever and nobody else knew who they were either. Perhaps it was just a bad moment but not a good first experience
August 16 · Danglin WangI live in a 14 unit park been here 19 yrs and I love itwouldnt leave it for anything else
