Camp Margaritaville RV Resort Lanier Islands Reviews
Large campground and campground resort! The drive in was very beautiful. You see plenty of water and the golf course. The campground itself is located further back. The sites on Parrot Rd were very nice, level, concrete. There’s a very clean bathhouse with one large shower. Some outside games near by. A drink cart comes by daily. There’s a huge game arcade building. Super nice! Fireworks when we came memorial weekend. The amazing water park of course. Totally worth it! Must stay!
Jun 08, 2025 · Tu GrayPros. Great location and Great views. If you stay in the gravel lots plenty of trees and shade.Cons. Have been to all 3 MV rv resorts in the SE and this is the least favorite. No resort pools or play grounds which doesn't make any sense for a RESORT. the water park is ok but for the price you can just go to a actual Waterpark in your area. The beach pass they give you is only good for the wave pool and good luck finding a chair. The beach area is useless as you can't go in the water. Also once the park closes at 7 nothing else to do unless you go to the arcade. Really disappointed in the lack of resort exclusive facilities. Bathhouse were clean and really nice but the showers had zero hooks for towels or cloth but do provide soap.
Jun 12, 2025 · Mike GarciaI grew up across the lake at Shoals Creek in a tent. It was bitter sweet to take my family in our RV for the first time celebrating Father's Day and my birthday. Check-in seemed pretty crazy when everyone showed up at 2 pm to check in.Let me start by saying that having a golf cart is a must, but they were out, so we did have the opritunity to rent from another golf cart company. There is a shuttle, but they do not have air-condition. I wish there was a pool for the camping community. I am happy we learned the area when we first got there. I love that we received 4 Fins Up passes per day. The bathrooms were super clean. It was nice having Game Changers to get out of the heat. There was a golf cart that came around from 4pm-10pm selling adult beverages. Eddie & Wanda were my favorite golf cart bartenders. Overall, we would love to come back.
Jun 22, 2024 · thenanny “thenannyjam” jamJust spent 5 nights at Margaritaville in Lake Lanier. The RV park is fabulous. Beautiful lots with lots of room and amazing lake views. Very nice staff. My only negative was the evening Margarita boat cruise. It did not at all meet our expectations. Three hours on a very tired boat with a non energized staff and no atmosphere. Would not recommend the cruise but the rest of the stay was fantastic.
May 25, 2025 · Wendi CoheleyNice camping spot and friendly staff. Great place to stay on a family trip. However if you are here for long term work please be advised that the lawns are done in the middle of the day. For night shift not easy to sleep.
