This isn't just another RV park; it's a slice of old Florida charm blended with resort amenities, offering a unique opportunity to camp directly on the ocean.
Bryn Mawr Ocean Resort consistently receives high praise for its prime location and dedicated staff. Guests often commend the "excellent grounds and the friendliness of your staff," highlighting the daily maintenance service that collects trash right from your campsite – a small but significant detail that enhances the overall experience. Many visitors find themselves returning year after year, drawn by the unbeatable beach access and the welcoming atmosphere. As one long-time guest eloquently put it, "You just can not beat the beach, pool, and location." While some areas might benefit from infrastructure upgrades, the core experience of beachfront camping here remains unrivaled. Let’s dive deeper into what makes Bryn Mawr Ocean Resort a beloved destination for locals seeking an authentic Florida beach RV adventure.
Bryn Mawr Ocean Resort is uniquely situated at 4850 A1A S, St. Augustine, FL 32080, USA. This address places it directly on the stunning shores of St. Augustine Beach, offering an incredibly rare and sought-after beachfront camping experience. It’s one of the last campgrounds in Florida located right on the ocean, allowing guests to hear the sounds of the waves and feel the coastal breeze directly from their RV sites.
The resort's location provides unparalleled access to the beautiful white sandy beaches. With multiple walkways leading directly from the park to the beach, a refreshing dip in the ocean or a leisurely stroll along the shore is just steps away from your campsite. The beach here is known for being beautiful and, importantly for many Floridians, dog-friendly, allowing your furry family members to enjoy the seaside fun with you.

Essential services like grocery stores (Publix and Winn-Dixie) and other retail options are also conveniently located within a mile or two. Bryn Mawr Ocean Resort Reviews
Our group camped at your location this past week and we had a wonderful experience, especially with the service provided. While I can't comment on the rooms since we camped, I want to commend you on the excellent grounds and the friendliness of your staff. We appreciated the daily maintenance service that collected bagged trash from our campsite. In fact, we enjoyed ourselves so much that we've already booked our next trip! Lizzie in the front office was incredibly helpful and patient as she booked all of our reservations together for a later date this year.Thank you for providing such a positive camping experience. We look forward to our next visit!
Apr 15, 2025 · Michelle EckartWe have been coming here every year for the past 7 years. I love the location and we LOVE the beach access. The beach is beautiful and dog friendly. We always stay on the beach sites or across the street from beach sites. They really need to do some upgrading to pavers and concrete. Like I said, not much has changed in years except they resurfaced the large pool. The park holds water and they need to work on drainage, but I do not think that is gonna happen. The Staff (except for one lady and she is just a unhappy person) are really nice and helpful. They really should invest in online reservations, but I bet it's pricy. Regardless of the things I do not like I will be back. You just can not beat the beach, pool, and location.
Jun 23, 2025 · Lisa AWe have been coming here for 5-6 years now. Love the campground and love the beach more. Plenty of space and never over crowded. The staff has always been super friendly.
Jun 09, 2025 · Marc ArmstrongGreat place to vacation, quiet, clean, friendly people. The only bad thing I have to say is that my husband and I tried to go to the adult pool many times, but ended up walking away due to there being many little kids in there splashing around and being loud. Nothing wrong with that, they are just supposed to be in the main pool by the front. We were looking for a quiet place to swim and lay out by sun, but couldn't during our trip.
Mar 28, 2025 · Morgan MooreNice campground. Lots of trailers mixed in and its a bit tight to drive around. Older facilities. Beach lots are great but have to be booked far in advance. Overall great.
