Brookside Manufactured Home Community Introduce
The housing market across Utah’s Wasatch Front can often feel inaccessible, pushing many residents to explore smart, value-driven alternatives to traditional real estate. Nestled in the heart of West Jordan, the Brookside Manufactured Home Community offers a practical and family-friendly path to home ownership in Salt Lake County. This established, all-ages community provides a unique blend of suburban tranquility with the unparalleled convenience of being just 11 miles from downtown Salt Lake City.
Brookside operates as a well-managed Mobile Home Park, specializing in offering affordable manufactured homes for sale and sometimes acting as a Mobile Home Dealer or Mobile Home Rental Agency. This integrated approach simplifies the process for prospective residents looking to purchase a new or pre-owned home and secure a lot lease in a high-demand area. Residents enjoy owning their home structure, which is a significant asset, while the community management handles the maintenance of common areas and grounds.
One of the key selling points for local users is the community's exceptional, central location. As noted by current residents, the neighborhood is considered very safe and offers great transportation options including Trax access, confirming its strategic position within West Jordan’s infrastructure. However, potential residents should be aware that, like many desirable areas near the Salt Lake Valley, securing a lot lease here reflects the high demand of the region, and while manufactured home living is often more affordable than site-built homes, the lot fees are priced accordingly for this prime area.
The professional management team is committed to providing a secure and well-maintained environment. The acceptance of Debit Cards for payments adds a layer of modern convenience to financial transactions within the community. Furthermore, Brookside is a pet-friendly community, understanding that pets are a vital part of the family unit, and it includes accessibility features like wheelchair accessible parking lots to ensure ease of access for all.
Introduction / Overview
Brookside Manufactured Home Community is an all-ages residential park located in West Jordan, Utah, recognized as an ideal option for families and individuals seeking affordable and quality housing in the Salt Lake metropolitan area. In an economy where housing costs are continually on the rise, manufactured homes present a viable solution, allowing residents to build equity in their home without the prohibitive cost of land ownership.
The community is managed professionally, with experienced staff dedicated to overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring a pleasant living environment. It is important for prospective applicants to engage directly with the management team and carefully review the application and approval process. While the goal is to make home ownership a reality, the application process is rigorous, and management strives to maintain a stable community, which means applications for lot leases are subject to management review based on current criteria.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Put in a application because my mom just sold her house and wanted to downsize, the property manager here promised she would try to get her into something all we had to do was submit an application and provide bank statements. told us if she gets denied that's where shell "step" in and tell upper management that she has the sufficient income to pay a couple years of lot rent. took about a month to hear back and all the manager could tell us was to re apply in 3-6months. they sure got an application fee out of us and didn't bother to help us any further wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
July 15 · N CVery safe neighborhood, very central, great transportation options including Trax, but it's not cheap to lease a spot here
March 16 · Alex LosemanSet an appointment with the agent and drove from Springville to get there. Arrived a little early and waited in my car. At the appointment time I got out and no one was in the office. I had enough time to walk around the property and then found the agent showing a woman and her daughter around. During my adventure, I sent numerous text messages with no response. This surprised me as she was there with another client. I walked back to my car and then drove to where she was conducting the showing. She left.Round trip it was 100 miles and on the way back I was in rush hour traffic. That kind of ground my gears. The park: Not very noisy considering that it was after school. The kids were very friendly. A little boy thought i worked in the office and asked me to use the rest room. (this shows a pattern)I kindly told him that unfortunately, I was not that lady. The grounds are not the cleanest. The pictures create a narrative that is inaccurate. It's not bad but...it's not the photos. All in all, I am disappointed at the lack of professionalism and courtesy. I hope Natalie wasn't in any type of accident but I suspect after showing the family that I saw her with, she was just tired and ready to play in the sun.One star because I can't do integers with a negative sign. Also, I got to tan my arms in rush hour traffic. That counts for something?!
April 26 · Gail BHOME SWEET HOME!One of the nicest mobile home communities I checked out when looking for a new place, honestly. Was so glad to be welcomed by a friendly face when walking into the office. The manager answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable. I notice that they’re always on top of making sure people are keeping their homes looking nice and abiding by the rules, which is usually the problem at other mobile home communities. I make sure to keep my home looking nice and am glad that to see that the office does their best to keep everyone and everything clean and in line. Sooo glad I found this place.
October 25 · S CDon’t move here. I live here. It’s just getting worse. Management has gone from worse to horrible. They come clean the streets & gutters by blowing it onto your property. I just let the wind blow it back out. They harass you over little stupid petty things. The kids that live here have no respect for anything or anyone. Unfortunately I own my unit so I have to sell it to leave. Do NOT get stuck here.
