The "just outside the city" location mentioned by residents highlights a prime benefit. It means you can enjoy a quieter environment, often with less traffic and more green space, while still being only a short drive from downtown Grand Rapids, numerous parks, schools, and healthcare facilities. For families, individuals, and retirees alike, this balance of tranquility and accessibility is often a highly sought-after combination when choosing a place to reside in Michigan.

For residents of Michigan, particularly those in the Grand Rapids area, Brookshire Meadows presents a compelling option for those seeking a specific type of living arrangement. Its suitability for locals stems from several key factors that align with common desires for housing in the region.
Firstly, the location "just outside the city" is a significant draw. Michigan residents often appreciate the balance between suburban peace and urban convenience. Brookshire Meadows offers exactly this, allowing easy access to Grand Rapids' job market, shopping districts, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities, while providing a quieter, more relaxed home environment away from the city's immediate hustle and bustle. Thirdly, for those considering mobile home living, the ongoing modernization with newer modular homes indicates a community that is evolving and improving. This offers locals the opportunity to invest in contemporary housing options within a well-established park. While lot rent is a consideration, the potential affordability compared to traditional home purchases in the Grand Rapids real estate market can make mobile home living an attractive and financially viable alternative for many Michiganders.
While some practical considerations like the absence of certain amenities and occasional communication challenges with management have been noted, the overall positive feedback regarding the quiet environment, friendly neighbors, and well-maintained properties paints a picture of a community where residents are generally content. Brookshire Meadows Reviews
4/5 stars. We have lived here since 2021. The lot rent is quite high ($682/Month) considering there is not a community center, pool, dog park, or playground (Grandkids?) located in or around the place. The owners are basically unreachable by phone or email so we do not rely on them for support here, though they do manage to run around on the weekends and write tickets for cars and items that are out of place per the park rules. Also, several homes near the entrance are dilapidated and unkempt.Outside of those nuances, the park is quiet with friendly neighbors, most people take care of their homes/yards, and the location just outside the city is fantastic. Newer modular homes near the south side of the park in the back are being built, and helping modernize certain areas throughout the park.Overall, we like it here and have had few issues.
Sep 08, 2022 · Mitchell ReppEveryone is incredibly friendly. It's a nice area. People will be outside working on their flower gardens and barbecuing. The only downside that I can see is that they are expensive. Lot rent is based on the size of the home lot, the number of people living there, and the number of pets. By the time you pay possibly $650 a month in lot rent and then your trailer payment, you might as well buy a house.
Apr 15, 2021 · TheresaMy roommate and I went to look at homes in this park two times. The owner of the park kept us coming back but was supposed to get a call back about the price of a couple homes we were interested in but never did. We called and left several messages. I feel that we were discriminated against because the owner didn't want us to live in their park. We had cash to buy a home, so you would think that we'd get a call about the cost of the home's we wanted to buy but we didn't meet the criteria for their park. We are glad because we found a beautiful home and the park was glad to take our cash! I guess we weren't good enough for their park!
Oct 13, 2020 · Ann HarrisI've lived here for over five years.Aàaaàh it's peaceful and quiet.Very well maintained. The people are friendly,. Well most of them but that's just life.I've found that management is responsive and more than willing to assist with any questions or concerns.I've recommend Brookshire Meadows to others and will continue to do so.Some find problems with everything. If you look hard enough I guess I could find something to complain about. But why?I give Brookshire Five 🌟.
