For Ohio residents seeking insights into mobile home park living, we'll explore what Brentwood Community presents, from its location to its general characteristics.
The concept of mobile home living has evolved significantly over the years, offering a potentially more affordable and community-focused alternative to traditional housing. In Ohio, the manufactured home market has seen notable shifts, with increasing demand for affordable housing options. While prices have seen growth, manufactured homes generally remain more accessible than site-built homes, contributing to their appeal across the state. Communities like Brentwood aim to provide a residential option within this evolving landscape.
It's important for prospective residents to gather as much information as possible to ensure a good fit. We'll delve into the specific details about Brentwood Community, providing you with a local perspective on what you might expect.
Brentwood Community is located at 17859 US-127 #8, Cecil, OH 45821, USA. Cecil itself is a village in Paulding County, Ohio, known for its rural charm and a more relaxed pace of life compared to larger metropolitan areas. US-127 is a significant north-south highway that traverses western Ohio, providing a direct route to and from the community. This accessibility can be a major advantage for residents who commute for work, wish to visit nearby towns, or simply enjoy easy travel.
Being situated on a major route like US-127 typically means convenient access to essential services and amenities that might be found in Cecil or the surrounding towns. While specific local amenities immediately adjacent to the park may vary, the highway connection generally implies that grocery stores, gas stations, and other everyday necessities are within a reasonable driving distance. For residents in this part of Ohio, proximity to such a main road enhances overall convenience and connectivity to the wider region.
While detailed, comprehensive lists of services directly provided by Brentwood Community can sometimes be challenging to find publicly, mobile home parks generally offer a set of core services to their residents. Based on the typical operations of such communities and the general market in Ohio, here are services you might reasonably expect from a mobile home park:
- Lot rental for manufactured or mobile homes.
- Utility hookups (e.g., water, sewer, electric, sometimes natural gas).
- Maintenance of common areas, such as roads within the park.
- Snow removal on main park roads (though individual driveways and lots may be resident responsibility).
- Waste management/trash collection services.
It is always advisable for interested parties to inquire directly with the management about specific services, their scope, and any associated fees to ensure a complete understanding of what is included in the lot rent.

- Community-Oriented Living: Mobile home parks often foster a close-knit environment, where neighbors can get to know each other. This can be appealing to individuals or families looking for a sense of belonging and community spirit.
- Affordable Housing Alternative: Compared to traditional stick-built homes, manufactured housing can offer a more budget-friendly entry point into homeownership. This makes it an attractive option for many Ohio residents navigating the current housing market.
- Potential for Green Space: Many mobile home parks, especially those in more rural or semi-rural settings like Cecil, may offer residents the benefit of individual lot space, allowing for small gardens or outdoor recreational areas.
- Accessibility: As mentioned, the location on US-127 provides straightforward access, which is a practical feature for daily life and travel.
- Established Community: Communities that have been in operation for a significant period often have established infrastructure and a history of residents, which can offer a sense of stability.

Brentwood Community Reviews
Worst place to live moved in there in 2016, after new owners took over it went down hill fast. It's naturally beautiful there, but the park itself is very neglected. Oh and if your lot is not up to their standards they will try to charge you fees. Highly NOT Recommended.
