April 05 · Jeremy GreenGreat park, beautiful trees, clean and fun. Attended the BBQ cookoff, WOW great food, a fabulous price and good fun! It was only $6 to get in, there were plenty of food tastings and if you buy the little 50¢ tix you can vote for your favorite tasting. There's a car show, vendors selling their goods, funnel cakes and kiddie rides. Lots of sunshine today! Enjoyed every minute!!!
October 26 · Pamela GervaisGreat food at the cook off but by noon no brisket left. Lots of spicy concoctions and things like deer , pork and quail. It was also VERY muddy so wear your boots if it's rained.
April 25 · Tracey McclureNice, no frills RV park in Meridian, TX. The onsite camp host came out to greet us when we arrived. He collected our money and gave a discount for Good Sam members. Told us not to hesitate to ask if we needed anything. Quiet place to stay.
August 06 · Scarlett1960Beautiful campground with nice, clean showers and facilities. But I wouldn’t recommend bringing your pets here.I was careful with my dog (portable pet fence, and walked on leash),but she unexpectedly jumped “through”my legs and out of my trailer when I opened the door-she must have heard something I didn’t.A young man in a pickup was speeding down the gravel road past the camp, dust flying, and hit and killed her.I had thought that this was going to be my regular camping destination(very quiet and peaceful, and I was the only camper at the park),but I doubt I’ll ever be back-no fault of the park people, just be aware if you love your pets
