BoaVida RV Parks and Resorts Introduce
For many Californians, the dream of RV travel, extended stays, or even full-time RV living often involves seeking out reputable and well-managed parks. BoaVida RV Parks and Resorts is a company that specializes in the ownership and management of RV parks and manufactured home communities across the Western United States. While the address provided (1910 Terracina Dr, Sacramento, CA) appears to be a corporate or administrative office, understanding the broader scope of BoaVida's operations can provide valuable insight for local users in California who are considering their options for RV accommodations or manufactured home living. This article will delve into what BoaVida RV Parks and Resorts represents, its general approach to properties, and what customers might expect when interacting with a company of this nature. The tone will be friendly, professional, and factual, aiming to be informative for potential residents and travelers.
In the dynamic landscape of California's tourism and housing markets, RV parks and resorts serve a crucial role, offering flexible and diverse accommodation options. These facilities range from simple campgrounds with basic hookups to full-fledged resorts with extensive amenities. Companies like BoaVida RV Parks and Resorts acquire and manage multiple properties, aiming to provide a consistent standard of service and amenities across their portfolio. Their business model typically focuses on centralizing management and investment to improve and maintain parks for residents and visitors. For Californians, understanding the corporate entity behind a park can be as important as understanding the park itself, as it influences policies, pricing, and responsiveness to resident needs. While individual parks under the BoaVida umbrella will have their unique characteristics, the corporate philosophy shapes the overall experience.
BoaVida RV Parks and Resorts is listed with a primary office address at 1910 Terracina Dr, Sacramento, CA 95834, USA. This location places the company within Sacramento, the capital city of California. Sacramento is a major metropolitan area, serving as a hub for state government, diverse industries, and a growing population.
While this address is likely an administrative or corporate office rather than a public-facing RV park, its location provides excellent accessibility for corporate operations. It is situated within Sacramento, which benefits from major transportation arteries, including Interstates 5 and 80, and US Route 50. This network allows for efficient travel to and from various parts of California, facilitating the management of BoaVida's properties throughout the state and Western U.S. For those needing to conduct business directly with BoaVida at their corporate headquarters, the Sacramento location offers the convenience of a large urban center with access to a wide array of services, including dining, accommodations, and transportation hubs like Sacramento International Airport (SMF). This central location is vital for a company managing numerous properties across multiple states, ensuring a streamlined approach to its widespread operations.
As a company that owns and manages multiple RV parks and resorts, BoaVida RV Parks and Resorts provides overarching services related to property acquisition, management, and resident relations across its portfolio. While specific amenities vary significantly from park to park, at a corporate level, their services generally include:
- Property Acquisition and Development: Identifying and acquiring existing RV parks and manufactured home communities, and potentially investing in upgrades and new developments.
- Centralized Management and Operations: Overseeing the operational standards, policies, and procedures for all properties under the BoaVida brand. This includes setting rental rates, managing leases, and establishing community rules.
- Customer Service and Support: Providing a central point of contact for general inquiries, although specific park-level issues are typically handled by on-site management. Customer reviews indicate that responsiveness at this level can be a point of concern for some.
- Marketing and Promotion: Developing and implementing strategies to attract new residents and visitors to their various parks, often through websites, videos, and online listings.
- Investment and Financial Management: Handling the financial aspects of property ownership, including rent collection, budget management, and investment in park improvements.
- Standardization of Amenities (across parks): Aiming to provide a consistent level of quality and amenities across their managed properties, which typically include full hookups (electricity, water, sewer), Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, and often recreational amenities like pools and clubhouses.
Based on the nature of BoaVida RV Parks and Resorts as a corporate entity and the various customer reviews pertaining to their managed properties (including the specific reviews provided for a park they acquired), several general features and highlights can be identified, along with areas that potential customers should be aware of:
- Extensive Portfolio: BoaVida manages a broad collection of RV parks and resorts across the Western U.S., offering a variety of locations and experiences for RVers and manufactured home residents.
- Focus on Acquisition and Improvement: The company's stated passion is to "provide an unmatched living experience in prime locations that offer well-maintained grounds and rich amenities." This implies a commitment to investing in and upgrading properties.
- Variety of Park Types: Their portfolio includes both "All Age Communities" and "55+ Communities," catering to diverse demographics.
- Emphasis on Amenities: Across their managed properties, BoaVida aims to offer features such as full hookups, Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, swimming pools, dog parks, and clubhouses, enhancing the living experience.
- Corporate Presence in Sacramento: Their Sacramento office serves as a central hub for managing their widespread operations, which can be a highlight for large-scale management efficiency.
However, it is crucial to acknowledge some concerns raised in customer reviews, which, while specific to individual parks they manage, reflect on the corporate entity:
- Variable On-site Management: Reviews indicate a "revolving door" of on-site managers at some properties, and difficulty reaching management, which can lead to inconsistencies in daily operations and resident support.
- Discrepancy Between Marketing and Reality: A customer noted that marketing videos for specific parks might be "a tad deceiving" compared to the current physical state, suggesting potential gaps in property upkeep or accuracy of promotional materials.
- Maintenance and Infrastructure Issues: Concerns were raised about "constant water turn off" and "flooding in the park," indicating potential challenges with infrastructure maintenance at some locations.
- Rent Increases and Late Fees: Increases in space rent by the maximum legal amount and higher late fees have been reported, which can be a financial concern for long-term residents.
- Application and Sales Process Challenges: Difficulties in obtaining applications for potential buyers suggest a need for improved efficiency in resident transfer processes.

BoaVida RV Parks and Resorts, as a significant player in the manufactured home and RV park industry across the Western U.S., offers a mixed but overall relevant option for locals in the California region. For those considering a manufactured home or RV living, BoaVida provides a corporate structure that aims to centralize management and improve properties. The suitability for Californians largely depends on the specific park under BoaVida's management and the individual's priorities. If one values the backing of a large company with a wide network of properties, the potential for standardized amenities, and a focus on investment in properties, BoaVida could be a strong consideration.
However, it is crucial for prospective residents or long-term visitors to conduct thorough due diligence on the specific park they are interested in, including visiting the site, speaking with current residents, and reviewing recent park-specific feedback. While the corporate entity strives to provide "unmatched guest experience" and "rich amenities," individual park conditions and management responsiveness can vary, as suggested by customer reviews. For Californians navigating the complexities of affordable housing and flexible living, understanding companies like BoaVida is key to making informed decisions, weighing the benefits of a large portfolio against the importance of consistent local park management and property upkeep.

BoaVida RV Parks and Resorts Reviews
I moved into Woody Acres back in 2019. I worked in the office for awhile. And then BoaVida now owns Woody Acres RV Resort in Rockport/Fulton Texas. In the past the turnaround of onsite Manager(s) and Office staff has been a revolving door. The video that BoaVida has on their website is not what Woody Acres looks like. A tad deceiving. There is so much work that needs to get done to make it appealing for newcomers. The constant water turn off is frustrating. Among other issues, flooding in the park is a nightmare. I have emailed documents to Manager on site, emailed Josh Court in regards to paying lawn service. A service that was brought to my attention and which I've paid over 2 years. I await that check to be mailed to me. I now have opted out of such service. I thought Woody Acres was a 55+ Park. One can see the eyesore overflow of trash dumpsters when entering Woody Acres. I have seen young kids running around on bicycles and in pool are without any supervision which I have addressed to Manager. Too much to email, but will be sending documents for Josh Court via Mail.
May 26, 2023 · Betty SustaitaI have owned a mobile home in a park for over 20 years. The park was purchased by BoaVida a couple of years ago and the space rent has increased every year by the maximum amount legally allowed. The late fee increased to $60. There is no manager at the park; the current manager is 65 miles away. There has been a major issue with the well at my park for months and I have not been able to use my water. I am also in the process of selling my mobile home and the potential buyers have been unable to get an application from the park management and the issue with the water has scared potential buyers away. I am extremely frustrated and it has been impossible to get someone on the phone or get someone to call me back!
Apr 14, 2023 · Evelyn PalmerBig shout out to Kenny who came out to help me with my gas leak issue. No one at Rio Vista RV Park would help since no one was working here since Friday. (4 days) Kenny came out and dealt with the issue so I could have heat, hot water and hot food again.Unfortunately it doesn't seem like BoaVida wants to do it's BEST out here. This place could be so beautiful and so great but they seem to be missing the point. Why have beautiful river front property and then treat it like junk?
Dec 13, 2023 · Polly BowersThey took over my park. Upper management didn’t believe that the people o deal with on a daily basis are thievesAfter getting injured by loose dogs. The person who does not own them was told if it happens again they would have to get rid of themGet rid of what? She’s a dog walker!! Not owner. That girl needs to be evicted! Not the owners
Mar 05, 2024 · Sherry McsherryAwful unprofessional disorganized management. They struggle to keep records properly, to keep employees consistently. If you are considering moving to one of their communities do yourself a favor and see the many lawsuits they have lost for failure to maintain their parks and over charging their residents. I wish I had its been a nightmare getting my home set up to be relocated out of one of their parks.
