Blue Heron RV Park Reviews
pros: the staff was very professional on the phone and at check in and it’s extremely convenient to have a grocery and fuel station next door!cons: the spots are VERY tight, and they park everyone next to each other and leave tons of open space so you end up with no privacy. bathrooms need a deep clean.
Mar 12, 2025 · Andee PhillipsI’ve stayed in a lot of rv parks across the country. This is one of the nicest. Not too big but very well kept and quiet especially being right off of a main road. One of my favorite places I’ve stayed in all my travels. Each spot has little street lamps that come on when the sun goes down enough so it’s well lit and looks very nice. Feels safe. Feels like living in a little subdivision. Right next door to a little market. A little further down are some dollar stores. Less than 2 miles from a gym. A little further from that are some fast food stores and gas stations. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area.
May 01, 2025 · Hayden Blankenbicker- [ ] My husband and I stayed at Blue Heron twice during our summer travels. We happen to google rv parks near us and Blue Heron was the first rv park listed. We called and spoke to Alex. He was professional, humble, and kind. On our second stay, Alex demonstrated the same positive characteristics. We happen to leave items important to us at the park and did not noticed did not have them until we arrived at our next destination. We called Alex and he confirmed we did leave them at Blue Heron. Without hesitation, Alex stated he would mail our items to us. Alex did what he said and we received our items without being charged a couple of days later. If we are in the area again, we will definitely make reservations at Blue Heron again. It was a blessing to be able to encounter kindness as Alex extended to us. Iowa, LA is blessed to have an establishment like Blue Heron.
Jun 27, 2025 · Laquoia ZubariVery nice and clean RV Park with very easy access. It's located close to Lake Charles. Big rig friendly with asphalt roads and concrete parking spaces. It's well lit and patrolled by local law enforcement. A large grocery store with fuel and propane are located right next door. The best part is that the owner and his employees are super friendly and helpful. We have really enjoyed our week here.
Apr 06, 2023 · ScottWe will definitely be staying here again. Local and family owned. The park was immaculate and level. The other campers were very nice and made a few friends. John is extremely courteous and we had such a great conversation about our different walks of life from different states. We also had an issue with our slide out and had to work on it in place. John was beyond helpful and couldn’t be a better host. Definitely felt safe here and will stay again with our family.
