★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I fell in love the moment I drove into this park. I have lived at BVW for just over a year. I moved here to provide a beautiful life for my son - and that’s exactly what we have! It’s quiet, peaceful, safe, friendly, and to be honest- magical! It’s far enough in the woods to enjoy the wildlife, but only a few minutes away from town. The school district is great and optional buses for transportation to/from school. My son enjoys playing outside and he feels safe here - because he is. The management and staff do a fantastic job of maintaining the park, they seem to go above and beyond to make this a beautiful and clean place to live. There are rules to live here - but that’s part of what keeps our home beautiful and safe... I can see myself living here forever! I have absolutely no regrets buying this home - it truly has been a dream come true.
October 24 · Elena Litchfield've been at Big Valley Woods for just going on 1 year. It's such a calm and quiet life out here among nature. I'm loving it.There's definitely an adjustment period of having an "HOA" with so many rules to follow, but it's not too bad. Just motivates me to not let my weeds get out of control. Some rules are more aggressive than others, but I don't mind because it'll keep the park looking so beautiful. The maintenance team really does a fantastic job keeping the place presentable.I haven't yet attended a monthly potluck, but plan to soon so I can meet some of the residents. The people who live closer to me are friendly and inviting so I'm sure the potlucks will be very nice as well.I'm in the newer section and can't wait for all the homes to be up and the playground to be expanded so the kids have their own place to play. There is the community center with a small gym and game room that is great. I was shocked at how big the communal room his. When I'm ready to have a large get together, I'm definitely reserving it. And it's free for residents.
October 26 · Bobbi DodgeWe moved to Big Valley Woods the end of July 2019 and love the peace and quiet here, as well as the gorgeous scenery. The trees make it feel private and secluded. There is such a feeling of community here, with monthly get togethers like Bingo, potlucks and so much more. They also have amazing hiking trails, rec center, with gym and game room and we see a lot of wildlife. Their maintenance staff is amazing and keep things clean and if anything’s needed, they are right on it. I love the people we’ve met since living and have made some amazing friends. Prior to this we lived in an apartment for 3 years and hardly knew anyone. We are so very privileged to live here and be apart all of this. What a wonderful adventure!!!
December 30 · Teresa BellMan this place is awesome! The ice cream social was a great success! The girl named Seranity deserves a raise! She was very social and set up everything! It was a hit amongst the guests there.
August 13 · Robert MontgomeryI'd been looking for months for the perfect park to purchase in. I've only been in my home a week but already, Big Valley Woods checks all my boxes. I wanted a quiet, safe park with active and responsive management that was clean and well kept. Add to that the awesome off-leash area, walking trails and overall beauty, you really can't beat it. I couldn't be happier that I was fortunate enough to buy here and Holly, the park Manager is awesome to deal with and made the purchase process a total breeze!!
