Big Tex Campgrounds Reviews
It's a new campground, so there are more amenities coming, but my site was very spacious and private with trees. Hook ups were in excellent condition and easy to use. Maria, the Mgr was wonderful and very attentive. Great location that offers access to Tyler, East Teaxas Arboretum in Athens, and several interesting small towns, including Edom. Great tiny town focusing on artists.

Jul 01, 2025 · Gheith Chakmakchithis is a wonderful and beautiful campground. Lots of shade, clean the roads and sites are excellent. The laundry facility and the shower are perfect. It was so nice to get a hot shower with tons of room after being in my RV for a week traveling from the east coast. I look forward to staying again on my return east in the fall.

Jan 04, 2025 · Cindy KrolnikSpent the weekend at Big Tex for our Canton shopping trip and it’s a great little campground. Good mix of longer term nomads and us weekend wannabes. Charlotte was great as our host and the owners were a pleasure to book with. Roads were wide and plenty of room to maneuver. I’d stay here again anytime.
