Big Oak RV Park Reviews
We called ahead to ensure an overnight spot on our way home from Big Bend to Houston area. Mike answered promptly and had #12 up front pullthru with full hookups. We planned to arrive 4-5pm well before dark. About 15 miles east of Del Rio a rear curbside tire blew out on our Class A. We backtracked to Del Rio at a crawl where The Tire Shop replaced both curb rear tires, 2 hrs delay then on our way. I updated Mike at Big Oak that we would now be arriving after dark eta 630pm. He was at the driveway with flashers on to guide us to our spot (the highway & park were very dark), then stayed with us while we got fully hooked up AND connected to his wifi. After 4 days in a huge corporate-owned park in Big Bend, the personal attention & kindness here earns 5 stars from us ❤️Right on US 90 and Mike is a friendly welcoming face after long tiring day.
Dec 31, 2024 · Cindy KovalchukI stayed at Big Oaks RV Park for about a month and a half, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. The owners are extremely accommodating, going out of their way to make sure every guest feels welcome and comfortable. The park has so much potential, with numerous trees, plants, and birdhouses recently added. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention has gone into enhancing the natural beauty of the place. I can’t wait to see how it will look when everything grows and blossoms. On top of that, it’s very affordable and incredibly peaceful. I highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a monthly, weekly, or daily rate.

Feb 07, 2025 · Teddy HickmanMy husband and I evacuated from the coast during Hurricane Beryl. We found Big Oak Rv to be a nice, quiet place. The owner waited for us to arrive and settled us into our spot. There was a problem with the electric service that was quickly handled. We were pleased with our stay and we hope to return in the future. Thank you, Mike, for a stress free stay.
