Love living here!! Moved here from Upstate NY in 2005. Lived in Arden for 8yrs. Loved it there untill it went all commercial with the businesses going up. The traffic was terrible. We moved out this way and fell in love. This is our place to call home. The people who run it are the best. The trailer park is not your usual trailer park. Its homey with great people to have as neighbors. We call the owner Grampa Oaks. Gotta say this is by far my favorite place to live. Almost 8yrs and counting. 😉 - mardi shleppy2170@yahoo.com

Big Oak Mobile Park Introduce

For many North Carolina residents, finding a peaceful and welcoming place to call home, especially in the beautiful mountains of Western NC, is a dream. As the population grows, affordable and community-oriented living options become increasingly valuable. In Hendersonville, a charming city known for its historic downtown and apple orchards, Big Oak Mobile Park stands out as a unique and cherished mobile home community. This article will provide an in-depth look at Big Oak Mobile Park, highlighting its location, the services typically offered in such communities, its distinctive features, and why it's considered an ideal home for many local residents, particularly those seeking a senior-focused environment.

A mobile home park, often referred to as a manufactured home community, offers a distinctive residential model. Residents typically own their manufactured home and lease the land it occupies, which can provide a more accessible entry point into homeownership compared to traditional site-built homes. These communities are designed to foster a sense of belonging, often featuring shared spaces and a managed environment that contributes to a comfortable and orderly lifestyle. Big Oak Mobile Park exemplifies these characteristics, providing a stable and friendly atmosphere that many residents clearly adore.

The reviews from current and past residents speak volumes about the appeal of Big Oak Mobile Park. Terms like "homey," "great people to have as neighbors," and describing the owners as "the best" highlight a strong, positive community culture that goes beyond just housing. For North Carolina locals, especially those looking to settle into a quieter phase of life, a community with such a strong reputation for warmth and genuine connection can be a significant draw, offering not just a place to live, but a true neighborhood and extended family.

Location and Accessibility

Big Oak Mobile Park is conveniently located at 107 Old Oak Dr, Hendersonville, NC 28791, USA. This address places it within the desirable Hendersonville area of Henderson County, Western North Carolina. Hendersonville is a vibrant city known for its historical charm, friendly atmosphere, and proximity to both natural beauty and urban amenities.

The community's location on Old Oak Drive offers residents a peaceful setting while maintaining excellent accessibility. It is situated just 15 minutes from downtown Hendersonville, which is a major advantage. Downtown Hendersonville boasts a picturesque Main Street with unique shops, local restaurants, breweries, and a lively calendar of events and festivals throughout the year. This proximity allows residents to enjoy urban conveniences and cultural experiences without being in the midst of heavy city traffic or noise, a sentiment echoed by a resident who moved from a more commercialized area of Arden.

Big Oak Mobile Park provides relatively easy access to US-Highway 64 and Interstate 26, which connect Hendersonville to larger cities like Asheville (to the north) and Spartanburg, SC (to the south).
