Between The Lakes RV Park aims to provide a range of services to ensure a comfortable and accommodating stay for its residents. Based on common RV park offerings and implied needs from reviews, here are typical services one might expect, and some confirmed by customer feedback:
- RV Site Hookups: This is fundamental for any RV park. It can be assumed that Between The Lakes provides electrical hookups (with varying amperage, e.g., 30 and 50 amp), water hookups, and potentially sewer hookups at individual sites for a complete RV experience. The customer review mentioning electrical issues, while negative, confirms the presence of an electrical system.
- Long-Term Stays: As indicated by a customer who has been there for two months and "loves it," the park clearly accommodates and is suitable for extended stays, providing a more permanent or semi-permanent living solution for RVers.
- Pet-Friendly Environment: A review explicitly states, "We can have dogs," confirming that the park welcomes pets, which is a significant service for many RV owners traveling with their animal companions. This implies designated pet areas or policies for responsible pet ownership.
- Community Garden Access: A standout feature mentioned by a resident is the presence of "a garden that you can help with and then take a few fruits and veggies home to enjoy." This offers a unique, value-added service fostering community engagement and providing fresh produce.
- Peaceful and Serene Environment: While more of a characteristic than a service, the recurring mention of the park being "very peaceful and serene" highlights the atmosphere cultivated by the park's management, offering a tranquil retreat.
- On-Site Management/Support: While a specific negative review mentioned issues with the owner not calling back, the existence of an owner/management implies a service structure for addressing concerns and managing the park. Ideally, this would include readily available assistance for site issues, questions, and general park operations.
- Waste Management: Essential for any RV park, this would include accessible dumpsters for trash disposal.
- Mail Services (for long-term residents): RV parks often offer mailboxes or a system for residents to receive mail and packages, which is crucial for those staying for extended periods. (It is recommended to confirm this directly with the park.)
Between The Lakes RV Park offers several features and highlights that contribute to its unique appeal, drawing insights from customer feedback:
- Long-Term Living Potential: A significant highlight is its suitability for extended stays. One customer explicitly states, "I've been here two months, I love it," indicating that the park caters well to individuals looking for a longer-term RV home. This makes it a great option for those seeking a more permanent base in Georgia.
- Community Garden: A standout, unique feature is the presence of "a garden that you can help with and then take a few fruits and veggies home to enjoy." This fosters a sense of community, sustainability, and provides residents with fresh produce, which is a rare amenity at RV parks.
- Pet-Friendly Policy: The park welcomes dogs, which is a crucial highlight for RV owners traveling with their furry companions. This inclusivity enhances the experience for many residents who consider their pets family.
- Peaceful and Serene Atmosphere: Customers consistently describe the park as "very peaceful and serene." This quiet environment is a major draw for those seeking a relaxing escape from noisy city life, offering a tranquil setting for unwinding and enjoying nature.
- Sense of Belonging/Home: One reviewer expressed being "happy being here" and feeling a strong sense of comfort. This highlights the park's ability to create an environment where residents feel at home, which is vital for long-term satisfaction.
- Natural Surroundings (Implied by name): While not explicitly detailed in reviews, the name "Between The Lakes" strongly suggests the park is situated amidst or in close proximity to lakes, offering potential for water-based activities like fishing, boating, or simply enjoying scenic views. This is a significant draw for outdoor enthusiasts.
However, it is also important to acknowledge a reported issue from a customer review:
- Reported Electrical Issues: One customer reported a severe electrical issue ("pushing 240 in camper") leading to damage and significant repair costs. They also noted a lack of responsiveness from the owner regarding damages. This is a critical point that potential visitors should be aware of and perhaps inquire about when contacting the park, ensuring their electrical systems are protected.

I've been here two months, I love it. There's a garden that you can help with and then take a few fruits and veggies home to enjoy. We can have dogs it's very peaceful and serene I'm happy being here.
Aug 14, 2024 · Charles GRIMESI moved my camper in on a Friday. Had a hard time getting my heater to run right. It ran for about 10 hours n shot off at 5 in the morning. Now keep in mind it was in the 30s. Left and came back in afternoon. My light sparked at me n a heat caught fire in 5 seconds.. I had to pay a man from Anderson to come and fix it at 11 at night. Costed me 1000 $ to fix when we found out that there electrical was messed up n pushing 240 in camper. Owner will not call back to discuss damages to my camper since they even knew about it. I would not recommend it to anyone
Dec 29, 2024 · Calvin TaylorNice and quiet Park, owner and manager were both very nice and accommodating, and very affordable. We stopped in for a night en route north, and the owner was happy to have us stay. They were all so friendly and welcoming. They even had a 50 amp to 30 amp adapter for us to borrow. The grounds are nice and well maintained, but there are a fair amount of ant piles around. They have a laundry house on site. Full hookup sites offered good water flow and steady power. No complaints at all with the power/water/sewer.The permanent residents are all extremely friendly and hospitable. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet RV park, and we would definitely stay again if we were looking to stay in the area.
Oct 04, 2024 · Drew SidlesIt was peaceful until the new owner came, but he brought a lot of drama with him. The maintenance man he hired has snuck into our RV multiple times and stolen a number of things (got him on camera). Not only that, but he's a violent drunk and has threatened several people here, including my family. The lady who collects rent for the owner lives in the park with the maintenance man and have been causing issues for everyone. We've stayed here for almost a full year without any problems but as soon the owner hired her, people were leaving left and right. She would brag about how the owner would let her do whatever she wanted at the park, and kick out whomever she wanted. Right now she's chosen us even though we have begged her, literally begged her, to leave us be. We have never been late on rent and have had no issues with anyone here other than the owner and the workers. The owners reason for suddenly kicking us out has yet to be told to us. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!!!
Aug 05, 2024 · Hailie WoodI'd like to start with I'm posting on my anonymous account because I still stay here but the first review is very relevant to the maintenance mans attitude and demeanor. I had a friend who stayed there for 5+ years who I helped plant a whole litany of vegetables for everyone to enjoy, just to watch it all be destroyed by the drunk they have fixing stuff around here. I'm very disappointed in the direction that this RV park is heading. I don't feel safe leaving my RV or my car unlocked, heck I barley feel safe letting my kids play outside with these people around.
