Bay Palms RV Resort Reviews
Great location. There's not much to look at when you drive in, but it's one of the more comfortable, friendly rv parks I have ever been in. I've been traveling full time for 7 years and have parked in many many parks over the years.Pool not heated as advertised, but who cares. It's not cold. It's 70 to 72 degrees without heater. It's clean and well maintained. Friendly staff and maintenance issues are taken care of immediately if at all possible.Monday-Saturday office is always open 9 to 5. Amazon packages accepted during your stay. A major plus these days. New office staff, new manager, and a great area manager, Lesa Kaiser, heading up the entire movement. She has been at this location since October 2024. So there are lots of upgrades and changes in that area also.I am looking forward to 2026 on our return to see all the upgrades and the remodeling taking place this summer and fall.Keep up the good work. See you next year.
Apr 13, 2025 · Vicky MurrayWe were booked for 2 weeks but left after 1 week (no refund was expected nor given). There's not much to do in the area without driving 15 or 20 minutes. Dauphin Island has activities, a nice bike path, and some very enjoyable beaches. The staff and guests were friendly and the pool is nice. The park is quiet and clean. On our site the sewer connection was goofy and difficult to work with. The pet area is amply-sized and seems to be continuously occupied all day. There's access to the bay shore across the highway but you have to climb over some barriers and large rocks to even get close to the water.
Feb 11, 2025 · Terry TPool was green one day, people were still swimming. Gravel spots were tight. Seems like the business plan is to get as many RV in as possible. There are worst locations and better ones. We will look for a different place for our next trip.
Jun 18, 2025 · Tony WaiswilosWe stayed here in our travel trailer in March 2025. The facility was clean, quiet, peaceful and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful and made reserving and checking in a breeze. People there were friendly and easy to chat up.The location is just north of Duaphin Island and it's an easy drive. It's about 30 mins to drive to downtown Mobile. There's a Greer's grocery store up the road and they are super friendly as well.
Mar 09, 2025 · KoryOn New Years Eve we were on our way back from our first camping trip headed home to New Orleans and wanted to stop somewhere quiet for the night to avoid fireworks at home. Bay Palms was the perfect stop and everything was so nice from booking last minute until we left the next morning. The staff was very nice and helpful on the phone and they had everything ready for us on our arrival. The paved spot was great as it was very spacious. We didn’t utilize any of the amenities because we were only there for a short night but we would definitely stay there again.
