Atlanta South RV Resort Reviews
The reviews for this place are unfair and untrue. We stayed here for one night on our way north from Florida and were pleasantly surprised. We stayed in the new section which was very tidy and spacious with a perfect concrete level pad , well placed hookups, a nice fire ring and picnic table. Not many trees in this section which we don’t mind. The older section had many mature trees and tons of shade. The comments about the main drive are exaggerated. It was a little bumpy but in decent shape for sure. The older section does have mostly gravel sites. Tons of pull through sites. Very friendly staff who waited for us after hours to check us in. Super sweet lady. There were tons of restaurants nearby as well as a sprouts grocery store and a Costco a block away. Super quiet place too. We will absolutely stay here again!
May 22, 2025 · Leila SakhaiGreat place to stay… They are improving this place more every day.. As far as woman posting there is NO room for big RVs I drove a semi for 17 years and I could get in any spot they place the biggest of RVs.. The staff is very friendly and pet friendly.. I wanted a shaded spot and they allowed me to move. Laundry room is small but the cheapest of any where else.. As far as people every one has been very friendly and helpful to me. Even the grounds keepers.. As far as parked like Sardines name a campground that don’t have close quarters. I have room on both sides of my Trailer and a place for campfire ring, grill, picnic table, storage containers, lawn chairs and Generator. As far as Dogs on 6 foot lease great idea. I’m handicapped and if you have a big dog it needs to be within your control at all times 16’ is not under your control..They are just protecting everyone.. I never have had a money issue with them either. People change their minds all the time.. I Love this place.. .
May 02, 2025 · Julia SpencerWe only stayed one night passing through however, the people are so nice and so welcoming the gentleman on the golf cart that brings you to your site. He came back later to bring our Daughter this huge welcome bag that had everything in it from soap to a toothbrush, a toy, a little stuffed animal The list goes on and on it made her feel so special. Also offered to take my husband back to his car that we had to leave in the front because we were only staying for one night so we just got a small spot. The gentleman in the office was nice. The neighbors were nice. I don’t know what it would be like to stay here for a while, but it looks like a lot of people do. It is right off interstate 85 which was so convenient. For me the most important part of an RV park is convenience and kindness because you’re already stressed from being on the road and tired. And you will find the kindness here and the convenience. It’s right off of 85 we thank you so much for you to our daughter and accommodating us. If we ever come back through Atlanta, this is where we will stay.
Mar 02, 2025 · Cindy WashingtonWell my thoughts were price was high for a 1 week stay and I now pay that price times 2 at a resort that roads are big rig friendly. I stayed in lot C and almost hit 1 of the big rocks in the 90° turn. Had to back up for adjustment and turn into lot to clear rock. $360 p/wk with no events is over priced. They can do better, laundry is bad...
May 19, 2025 · J EJust an heads up. Unfortunately due to the website rules that were sent to us it said check in would not be until 4pm. When I called to tell them that wouldn’t really work for us they said the website is wrong it’s 1pm. Unfortunately we had adjusted our trip based on the paper and made two other changes down road based on the 4pm. It was the same day of our reservation that we noticed the check in time, so there was no refund of course. I did ask to see if maybe a partial refund would be allowed and they said no, even tho the website had wrong time. If it would have been 1pm we would not have needed to cancel at all. Anyway. Just a heads up.
