Anchor Down RV Resort Reviews
What a beautiful place. We learned about this campground via a magazine of RV resorts and planned "one day" to go. This week was our "one day." The staff was friendly and courteous. The campground was super clean and well kept. The bathrooms are the best we've seen in all of our travels so far. The amenities were cared for and so much fun. We did it all and are looking to come back with friends.
Jun 27, 2025 · Violette NGreat RV campground. Probably the cleanest, most well kept campground I've ever been to. Owner even came to our spot coz it was our first visit to welcome us! Nice pool! Really nice lake area with inflatables and things to play on. Nice bathhouse! Definitely worth a visit!
Jun 22, 2025 · sledge hammacWhat great campground. We just spent 1 week there for the first time and will definitely be coming back. place is very clean. They do not offer activities for kids which is fine because they have the pool and the lake and my 2 kids loved it. The beach and pool area are super clean but the only downside I saw was the amount of lake debris that accumulates near the beach area everyday that isnt cleaned up. But that will not stop us from using it.
Jun 27, 2025 · Curtis KooiengaAnchor Down RV Resort was absolutely beautiful! We stayed in buddy sites 93 & 94 and really enjoyed the setup—especially the firepit. The lake view is stunning, and the entire property is incredibly well maintained. If you prefer more spacious sites, I’d recommend staying on top of the hill—those spots offer a little more room without sacrificing the view. The dog park is one of the best we’ve seen at any RV resort, and the staff were friendly and very present throughout our stay. Highly recommend! We wished the pool was open especially being 93 degrees one day!
Apr 20, 2025 · Nicole JohnsonWe stopped in for the night and fell in love! Spacious sites, clean campground, nice workers, and great amenities! We could easily spend a week here and not get bored, plus it's 30 minutes from Gatlinburg! We will definitely be back!
