Amoco RV Park is situated at 293 Amoco Rd, Hackberry, LA 70645, USA. This location places it within the heart of Louisiana's famed "Sportsman's Paradise," a region highly regarded for its exceptional fishing and hunting opportunities. Hackberry itself is a small, quiet community known for its direct access to the expansive Calcasieu Lake, often referred to as "Big Lake," a prime destination for speckled trout and redfish. While the park’s address indicates a degree of remoteness, which can appeal to those seeking a peaceful retreat away from urban hustle, it's essential for visitors to consider their transportation needs. Accessibility to major roads that connect to nearby towns like Lake Charles or Sulphur would be a factor for grocery runs or other services not found directly in Hackberry. For locals, this location offers a convenient escape to prime outdoor recreational areas, making it a potential base for weekend fishing trips or longer hunting expeditions in the surrounding marshes and bayous. The park's placement on Amoco Road suggests it might be in an older, established part of the community, potentially offering a more rustic or authentic Hackberry experience.

Amoco RV Park Reviews
I rented a spot for several months. The day I packed up to leave I drove into sulphur to get a hitch for my truck. I get back and the owners son living in the first RV spot at the left stole 15 brand new crab traps from me. The owners allowed it to happen. This RV park is ran by thieves who steal from their tenants. Stay far away from this place! Do not recommend!
