American Heritage Retirement Community Introduce
For many seniors in Utah, finding an affordable, comfortable, and community-focused place to enjoy their retirement years is a top priority. American Heritage Retirement Community, located in West Valley City, offers an appealing solution as a specialized Mobile home park dedicated to providing independent living for residents aged 55 and better. This well-established community has been a local fixture since the early 1960s, offering over 60 years of experience in the manufactured home industry.
American Heritage Retirement Community is not a nursing home or assisted living facility, but rather an independent living-style community where residents own their manufactured homes and lease the land (or homesite). This model is designed to provide an affordable pathway to homeownership and a relaxed retirement lifestyle, surrounded by a neighborhood of peers. The philosophy centers on creating a clean, attractive, and desirable living space, complete with the essential amenities that foster social connection and ease of living, right here in the heart of the Salt Lake Valley region.
The community takes pride in being a small business, currently owned and managed by third and fourth-generation family members. This local management commitment often translates to a more personal, communicative style of attention for residents, which is highly valued by many who are looking to settle down in the West Valley City area. They understand the importance of a well-maintained environment, with home-sites featuring beautiful trees, shrubbery, and grass, making for a pleasant and enjoyable spot to live out your Utah retirement.
Important Note: While the community aims to be a welcoming environment, it is crucial for all prospective residents to fully understand the legal and financial commitment of the mobile home park living model. Thoroughly reviewing all park rules, lease agreements, and especially the process for the sale or transfer of home titles is essential, as this is an area where disputes can occasionally arise between residents and park owners in the industry. It is highly recommended to seek a Free Consultation - 30 Minutes to fully clarify all community requirements before proceeding with any purchase.

American Heritage Retirement Community Reviews
After living in the community for several years, I purchased a mobile home from a tenant who had been evicted only to have the park owners obtain a duplicate title in their name instead of signing it over to me and then threw my belongings away that I had in the home then sold the home to someone else causing me to lose 10’s of thousands of dollars and some very precious items that were inside the home. I’m not their only victim according to some of their previous tenants who were evicted and had their homes taken and sold. Apparently these people are on fixed income and don’t have the resources to retain legal help and therefore many of these elderly people have became homeless.

January 13 · WarrenGrandma said she is liable if a tree or branch falls on a car or trailer.? Seems like everyone in there is on a fixed income and would have a hard time paying for tree service or doing it themselves. Shouldn't the landlords be responsible for tree maintenance?
June 06 · Free QiAmerican Heritage management is top notch in my book! At the end of the day, I wasn't able to get my brother into the community, but the manager treated us ethically and with kindness and understanding. Doing business with AHMHC would have been a pleasure.
May 07 · Traci BrownI don't like having to pay 4.00 per night so my car won't get towed away. We drive from Montana to spend time with family. The park should issue a free pass.
