Alpine Regency Mobile Home Park Introduce
For many individuals and families across South Carolina, finding housing that balances affordability, location, and a sense of community can be a significant consideration. Mobile home parks often emerge as a practical solution, offering an alternative to traditional stick-built homes or apartment living. In Columbia, the vibrant capital of the Palmetto State, Alpine Regency Mobile Home Park presents one such option. This article aims to provide a clear, engaging, and informative overview of Alpine Regency Mobile Home Park, specifically tailored for local users in South Carolina, to help you understand what this community offers and if it aligns with your housing needs.
Mobile home communities, or manufactured housing communities (MHCs), have become an integral part of the housing landscape in South Carolina. They offer a unique lifestyle, often characterized by a greater sense of privacy than apartment complexes and a more accessible entry point into homeownership. However, like any living arrangement, the experience within a mobile home park can vary widely based on management practices, maintenance standards, and community atmosphere. Understanding these nuances is crucial for prospective residents. While some concerns have been raised by past residents regarding specific administrative issues and amenities at Alpine Regency, it remains a notable option in the Columbia area due to its location and the potential for a quiet neighborhood experience.
Alpine Regency Mobile Home Park is strategically located at 2928 Alpine Rd #141, Columbia, SC 29223, USA. Columbia is a dynamic city, home to the University of South Carolina, major healthcare facilities, and a growing business sector.
The park's location on Alpine Road offers excellent accessibility. It is situated in Northeast Columbia, an area known for its residential communities and proximity to major thoroughfares. Healthcare providers, schools, and various professional services are also readily available in the surrounding area. The convenience of being located in a major city like Columbia, yet potentially offering a more affordable housing solution, is a key highlight of Alpine Regency's accessibility. Alpine Regency Mobile Home Park Reviews
The front office lady took my deposit from me just to find out i wasn't supposed to give her a deposit. Now they can't find it in their system to give it back to me. Also gave me a "rent as is lease saying that I had to fix the damages in the mobile home without being refunded and not prorated the rent; under James George George home family rentals. He said he thought he was going get a tenant that can fix the mobile home, didn't know if he meant i was supposed to be Hispanic or not. But This is so wrong on so many levels. But other than that a nice quiet neighborhood
Feb 10, 2025 · Daleya WilsonMoved here out of sheer despair...its barely livable there are major potholes in the streets..the manager just rides around all day and nothing gets done there are no maintenance people and its just not as well there are NO amenities at all but its extremely overpriced but convenient to interstate but other than that there's nothing special to this place at all
Jan 18, 2021 · JM JacksonI lived here for 30 years, slowly went downhill to the point I moved and bought a house. I drive through every once and awhile to see how much it has decayed and see all the potholes.
Jul 26, 2024 · Andree SisarioThis park has management that tells the lot renters that they cannot sell their own homes or move them out of the park. Which is completely false, illegal, and untrue. Pure manipulation and bullying. Especially if someone is of Spanish decent and does not know our laws well. The management manipulates their lot renters to believe they cannot sell or move their mobile home’s. It’s about as bad as it gets. We contracted to buy a home and before we could close the park manager threatened a Spanish man (the owner & seller) telling him he could not sell nor move his own property without her permission. Their manager named “Mercedes” told us if we came back to the park we would be arrested for trespassing. Wow. The disrepair of the park and it’s roads is minor compared to its park manager problem. Just makes the place even less hospitable and gives mobile home parks a bad name. This one is a complete failure with a grade of F-.
Jan 11, 2022 · Robert WoodruffThis is THE worst place to live!!!! The property manager or whatever she is Mercedes is the absolute worst!! Not only have I witnessed her berating tenants who live here, she also very clearly has her son with her when she does so. She is very nasty, rude, and gets aggressive and belligerent with tenants. How she's still employed is beyond me but I guess they don't care.
