In this article, we aim to provide a factual and informative overview of what you can expect when considering Almond Grove Mobile Home Park as your next stop in the California region.
Almond Grove Mobile Home Park is located at 880 12th St, Williams, CA 95987, USA. This address places the park in the small town of Williams, which is conveniently situated off Interstate 5 in Northern California. For RVers traveling along this major north-south artery, the park's location offers easy access, making it a practical stop for those on extended journeys. Williams itself is a rural community in Colusa County, known for its agricultural surroundings and a slower pace of life compared to California's larger cities. While the town is small, it provides basic amenities such as gas stations, convenience stores, and local eateries to cater to travelers' immediate needs. The park's proximity to I-5 means that larger cities like Sacramento to the south (approximately an hour's drive) and Redding to the north are accessible for day trips or further exploration of Northern California's diverse landscapes. This ease of access from a major interstate makes Almond Grove Mobile Home Park a straightforward choice for those seeking a convenient and no-frills overnight stay or a brief stopover while traversing the state.
Based on public data and customer reviews, Almond Grove Mobile Home Park offers a selection of fundamental services designed to cater to RVers, particularly those who are self-contained. While comprehensive luxury amenities may not be the primary focus, the park provides the essentials for a practical stay. Specific services include:
RV Sites with Hookups: The park offers dedicated RV sites, and it's understood that full hookups (electricity, water, and sewer) are generally available, which is crucial for self-contained RVs. However, specific details on amp service (30/50 amp) should be confirmed upon inquiry.
Affordable Pricing: Reviews indicate that prices are "great," suggesting a budget-friendly option for travelers seeking value in their overnight or short-term stays.
On-Site Laundry Facilities: A "washer/dryer room" with a "big table for folding" is available, offering a practical amenity for residents and RVers to do their laundry conveniently.
WiFi Access: Wireless internet access is listed as an amenity, although past reviews have noted "trouble with Wi-Fi," indicating that performance may vary. For critical connectivity, travelers should consider alternative options or their own mobile hotspots.
Dedicated Management Support: Reviewers consistently praise the manager, stating, "manager is great! He will help you with anything ya need." This points to a responsive and helpful on-site presence, which is valuable for addressing immediate needs or concerns.
Pet-Friendly Environment: Public listings indicate that the park is pet-friendly, accommodating those traveling with their furry companions.
Almond Grove Mobile Home Park presents several features and highlights that, while varying in impact, collectively contribute to its identity as an RV stop in Williams, CA.
Exceptional Manager Support: This is a consistently strong highlight. Residents and RVers alike commend the manager, stating he "is great!" and "will help you with anything ya need." Another review praises the manager's kindness, citing an instance where they offered a free stay to a person with a gravely ill husband. This level of responsiveness and compassion is a significant asset, ensuring that visitors feel supported and that immediate issues are likely to be addressed.
Affordable Pricing: The park is noted for its "great prices," making it an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers or those seeking a cost-effective overnight stop rather than a resort-style RV park. This affordability can be a major deciding factor for many RVers.
Quiet Atmosphere: The park is described as a "Pretty quiet place," suggesting a generally peaceful environment. For travelers seeking a tranquil night's sleep away from highway noise, this can be a valuable feature, allowing for rest and recuperation.
Suitability for Self-Contained RVs: Reviews explicitly recommend the park "If you have your own self contained RV, it's a good place to stay overnight." This highlight is crucial, indicating that while basic, the park serves its purpose well for those who are self-sufficient in their vehicles and primarily need hookups and a quiet spot.
Convenient Laundry Facilities: The presence of an "okay" washer/dryer room with a "big table for folding" provides a practical amenity for travelers who need to do laundry on the road.
Rustic and Established Character: While some reviews mention that the place is "old and needs an upgrade" and describe bathrooms as "disgusting" or "out of a scary movie," this feedback highlights the park's older, more rustic character. For some RVers, this might mean a no-frills, practical stop rather than a luxury resort. It indicates that those with self-contained units who don't rely heavily on communal facilities might find it more suitable. The "ill repair" noted in some reviews suggests visitors should manage expectations regarding aesthetics and communal amenities.

Almond Grove Mobile Home Park Reviews
Okay little place, manager is great! He will help you with anything ya need. Prices are great. Pretty quiet place. Had trouble with Wi-Fi though. And, stay away from the bathroom, something out of a scary movie! Washer/dryer room was okay, big table for folding. You can tell this place is old and needs an upgrade! If you have your own self contained RV, it's a good place to stay overnight.
Apr 06, 2019 · Mary FriedrichI'm not sure who wrote the previous reviews, but the place was really bad. The bathrooms were disgusting with paint peeling and hard to tell if the shower stalls were ever cleaned. The pull thrus are in the center of the park amongst the permanent residents. The residents inside the park were driving through the pull through sites to access their homes instead of using the designated road around the sites. The place is in ill repair. The pull through near us complained of their cable not working. When I went to pick up my rug from outside, a large cockroach scampered away. I would not recommend this place.
Jul 26, 2015 · Lori CimolinoStaff is very helpful and friendly. Small park with a lot of permanent sites but people are very friendly and the grounds are well maintained. Laundry room has new machines. The wi fi and cable (with more than the normal ten channels) is dependable and included with the very reasonable fee for the night. Would definitely come back again for any amount of time. Thanks for everything Sue.
Feb 17, 2015 · John & Sandra MatuskoWow! Where do I start! This was a random stop for me because I was having some tow package troubles on my trip so I took my travel trailer here till things could get fixed. The bathrooms were dated and gross. And the front house manager was nice and so were the people at the park but the owner at the park by the end of my week stay had a personality change! I left for a couple days after I paid my week rent and when I came back she had her nose turned up asking me where I've been as if I did something wrong. Then I had an issue parking one of my cars because the space was very tight and she was very on edge with me after that to where she just stopped being friendly all together. I suggest if you need a place for one night this would be fine but the shorter time spent the better.
Aug 18, 2017 · Shannon WilliamsI do not recommend this park. Bathrooms are horrible, leaking shower and in ill repair. I stayed here for several years as a duck hunter and kept my trailer there year round. The place has really gone down hill. It use to be a nice friendly park with a nice atmosphere.
